"Kyon Ho Gaya Na!!!" is yet another stupid, gaudy, film this year after Main Hoon Na. Yet another film that celebrates display of wealth! And I am sure with all the hype about this so-called "real life love story" our audience will not flock to the theatres as happened with many movies before! Vivek Oberoi with his lousy dance movements, in the song Tum Kisipe Na Marna, and exagerrated expressions looked very 'pansy'! He is no comparison to SRK or Hrithik. Just as we feel good about some of the recent attempts at well-made cinema, like Khaki, Lakshya films such as these come and dampen our spirits! Saathiya was an enjoyable film with excellent music by AR Rehman, believable characters and endearing performances! Give me a DVD of that film any day!
KHGN is Vivek's worst movie with his worst performance ever seen. He is so over the top in all the scenes this time. Agreed that his role required him to play a real cool dude, but that doesnt mean he has to overact all the times. Ash has given poor performance in this movies, she is too showy and looked aged than Vivek. She was good in Devdas, after that she is just concentrating on her looks and acting wierdly in all her movies. Amitabh Bacchan was really forgettable. Seems that he loves to poke his nose in each and every film this year. But he must remember that every film is not Khaki or Lakshya, or for that matter Dev. Overall Viveks worst movie, and I expected a much better movie than this.
The movie was plain bad. Vivek hyper-acts beyond belief, Ash shouts and rants too much. Amitabh's steroetyped performance matches the demands of the script; no wonder. No surprises in the film whatsoever. The class audience is disappointed and the Hoi Polloi lot (the masses) simply got bored and many left the theatre much before the movie ended. What a let-down for good film lovers.
The producer of the film Kyon Ho Gaya Na, please RETURN my money I spent for buying the ticket. This is a film or what? 1000 years old stuff presented in new packet. The movie is so awful and pathetic that I could have happily walked out of the theatre at the interval point, had the theatre allowed it, but they insisted me to sit in the theatre for the whole duration. It is so disappointing to watch names like Amitabh, Ash, Vivek Oberoi give us something so boring to watch. It was well and truely a pain.
I am shocked after seeing KYON HO GAYA NA.How could someone like Vivek Oberoi make such a FALTU movie? The magic and charm of SAATHIYA and COMPANY are just missing in Viveks performance. Nothing seems right about the movie, even music is boring. Also such a movie was expected from a novice director like Samir Karnik,not from the actor of COMPANY and SAATHIYA. Sorry Vivek,but a very disappointing effort indeed, U have lost a fan.
After watching the movie, only thing I feel is comedy and I feel Vivek n Ash are like comedians of the movie, they look like nonsense couple. Only kissing on screen cant make a couple successful. Also it seems that always VIVEK obey RAI, cuz RAI seems to be the dominating one. God knows what will happen in their future life. As far as the film goes, well its really HELL and not even 10 per cent paisa vasool. Very very much disappointed with the couple of Vivek and Ashwairya.
I dont read Rediff reviews cuz they are really something! But I watch movies, and I think the film KHGN needs criticism of third degree. 1st half of the film is the worst ever seen in my whole life. I am sure that anyone of us could direct or act better than Sameer and Vivek. The movie sucks and dont waste your precious time n money on it. Accordind to me it should get the Filmfare awards for 1. Worst movie of 2004 2. Worst Direction (Sameer Karnik) 3. Best Overactor (Vivek Oberoi) & F.Actor (Ash). Only descent thing is the picturisations of the songs. Believe me by the name of GOD I have never regretted going to a movie more than this. I would advise others to stay away from this movie, cuz its just a junk of CRAP.
I found the movie Kyon Ho gaya Na hopeless nd pathetic. Vivek will come to know very soon what it takes to survive in the industry, its not a bed of roses. Kyon.. is a very bad movie with 3 hours of plain boredom, with zero per cent originality. It was a real 3rd degree to watch the movie in hall. I would request the viewers to watch the movie only in cable tv if they value their money.
Well movie doesn't attract as its baner do.... Vivek overacts than all other actors in his roll. Ash looked fine, but looked older than Vivek. The movie has nothing special about it. Thats all from a film lover.
