The Congress could be expected never to commit the kind of silly blunders the Modi govt has done in the Rafale scam !
For instance, the Congress might never have steamrolled ahead with what certainly appears to be a triple fold increase in the purchase price of fighter aircraft as the BJP has done !
The Modi govt is perhaps secure under the impression that the ceaseless din Narendra Modi makes with his grating voice from podium after podium would continue to deceive a large section of North Indians !
The BJP govt, in September 2016 a while after Modis visit to France, announced a price of Rs 58000 crores for outright purchase of 36 Rafale aircraft. In Nov 2017, Nirmala Sitharaman announced in response to questions from journalists that her govt has secured a ^better price^ than the UPA did for the Rafale. But when journalists asked her the exact price, the defence minister fumbled and then looked at the defence secretary. The defence secretary too did not reveal the price.
Upon this, the defence minister announced that her ministry would soon give out the exact price. However, though journalists kept calling her ministry repeatedly in the weeks that followed, there was no response.
And now, Nirmala Sitharaman announces in Parliament that the exact price of the Rafale cannot be revealed as there is an IGA between India and France that prevents it !

Pray..........was Nirmala Sitharaman and her defence secretary and the entire Modi govt unaware of the supposed bar by this so called IGA on revealing the Rafale price when they revealed the notional price in September, 2016 ?
Was the Modi govt and the defence minister unaware of this supposed provision in the IGA when Sitharaman promised to convey the price to journalists ??
And...did the defence ministry remain ignorant about the IGA barring the revelation of the price throughout the period after the defence ministers press conference when her ministry refused to respond to the repeated calls of journalists ?
Yes indeed it is albatross around Modi's Neck. Not just Modi but all Indians. Yes with home grown throns and poison, for the last 70 yrs. Modi and Indians must first pull out the thorns & neutralise the dangerous poison, in the shape of Congress & their coitre around.

honest tax payers are a small minority and their vote is not needed for any party to come to power .. they have to be sqeezed max for tax and their is nothing they can do about it .. they are destined to foot the bill for everybody .....

Since the time of Sri Vajpayee Ji Govt. during election campaigns and in every possible forum, BJP has been advocating to give middle class little room in their earnings. Even after 20 years, the promise which was made to us has not been implemented. In successive budgets of your government, middle class is cheated and deceived. This budget was harshest of all and final death nail in middle class coffin. BJP knows very well how to cheat middle class and take away their hard earned money and vote also. Dear PMO, this will not happen this time. Middle class will react in the most dignified way in appropriate time. BJP knows, although this group has been with BJP in every difficult time with rock solid support, now perhaps BJP is not worth of it. IF BJP does not care for middle class, this class has every right to not to care for BJP. No one is going to be wooed with Jumlas and more Jumlas. Perhaps it has been habit of leaders even so called big leaders to get away from their commitments. After ascending to power chair, not other than power and more power any other thing is visible. They might not remember their words but people do. In pay commission, pay is hiked but have you given the hike to take it back by cutting our pocket ? Is change in tax slab not over due ? How long middle class will be lured by false promises and back stabbing by BJP ? Now after this budget, middle class is stunned and silent, as the vociferous way they have supported this government and stood by with

true words. BJP choose to ignore middle class. Every type of Tax has to be paid my middle class but politicians loot our money. BJP stopped thinking about middle class. Unfortunately Congress is busing in looting and its anti Hindu policy. In Karnataka many Hindus are killed yet arrogance of Congress is so much they are protecting culprits. Congress is busy with its pro-Islamist policy. But if BJP keep ignoring middle class then they definitely face the music in coming elections
