Economics

In a village there are 100 people. Everyone needs 1 kg rice per day to feed himself. The land in the village is sufficient enough to grow 100 kg per day. Thus supply and demand is balanced, simple arithmatic.

Now the population of the village grows to 200. Some people encroach the fertile land to make their homes. So the land available to grow rice reduced and production came down to 60 kg per day. Here you see the imbalance. for 200 people= 60 kg rice. initially the balance supply demand was 100 people= 100 kg rice.

So obviously powerful/rich would like to grab maximum out of 60 kg and have-nots may not get what they need.
This imbalance will surely cause poverty, anarchy, crime, corruption etc.

So to have a proper balance we should have the population which can be fed sufficiently by the resources available to us.

Chineses understood it well ahead of us and we are still clueless

Our Politicriminals & Babu Brat Burocrats have no time or Will to look into such problems. Their time is consumed in Syphoning Rupees into Swiss Accounts & preparing for Next Elections.

by Jerkovski on Jul 17, 2010 02:00 PM  | Hide replies

I see so much anger from south indians against north indians on these forums - especially tamil people.

Would they like to comment on HOW so many north indian states have made it to top 5 (3 out of 5) ?

LOL...you do have a good sense of humor dont you?

The reason south Indians are angry at North Indian Hindi states is because Hindi states have taken all the top positions in the list - from the bottom!

Yes, you Hindi wallahs have pulled the nation down. Eight North Indian states have more poverty and more poor people than the 25 worst undeveloped nations of Africa!

And instead of being ashamed about that, here all of you tussi mainus are boasting about your 'Aryan' genes, and how great you are, and how high standard of living you have.

Did you notice in the list that so called great PUnjab Haryana Gujarat etc are below Kerala! That has caused alot of Tussi Mainus and alu mulis to become c..on..sti..pated, as evidenced by comments.

So all Tussi mainus are instead of keeping shut after the absolute disaster of having 400 million most poorest peoople on planet earth in North India (worse than Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, congo etc)...instead of keeping quiet Tussi Mainus are exhibiting their ignorance and pulling Kerla down with absolutely hilarious reasons...

One Tussi mainu actually stated that South india is only moving ahead because due to its good climate foreign investors invested in IT in south India. So the good weather is like lottery of IT for south...as per this Tussi Mainu intellect. A question to all Tussis.
Hindi was pushed down Southies throats as a medicine for progress. how come Hindis are now the most backward people on planet earth?

Why you are publishing half and quarter info
To Confuse the people

All states are rich where people work and make their daily earnings . Poor whhere people are RAG pickers who will not raise from bedd till 8 AM .

Better index is Average time of people get from BED is the best Index to decide people are Poor or Rich .

The credit for kerala's development is attributed to the hardworking population. But i think the govts are failed to provide with the basic infrastructure to cope with it. The distance from Kochi to Tvrm is 190 kilometers take 6-7 hours to travel. People are wealthy but govt is sleeping to provide amenities and restrict corruption.

Considering the above facts Kerala is at number 2 among least poverty state. It is all because of educational front it has acheived. Being one of the most literate state it is quite normal to have acheived this. And Tamil Nadu another fantastic state in south India will eradicate poverty in times to come. I hope whole of India would eradicate poverty
