Dear FM, The tax should be levived to all the people and all business class should be scrutinized well so that government can colleact more tax and the salaried persons tax can be shared among those who simply skips the Tax.You should come up with some plans like life time medical benifit and other such benifits to encourage tax return files.
FM should seriously think about senior citizens/pensioners,who are worst hit by the consistent rising cost of living/inflation.Medical expenses have sky rocketed. It will be not a bad idea to exempt pension,earned on superannuation, from Income Tax net.
Dear FM kindly increase limits in line with expenses and consumption and bringing out greater people to the tax net. upto Rs 3 lacs - 0 tax besides increasing the tax breaks under section 80C ( for increasing savings ) & Section 24 ( house loan ) thus fueling demand in housing and construction sector

This is very very unfair and a real unjustice to the salaried class !!!
Lot of people in India in the profession of Doctor - Practicing individually, Lawers, Shop owners of all kind doing lakhs of Rs transaction per day, are not under TAX NET TODAY !!!!!
Though being a technocrate I would preffer to open a ration store....because there is no TAX. There is no mechanism to collect TAX from all mentioned or in short except salaried class !!??

A fool-proof mechanism should be brought in, so that other categories of professionals,apart from salaried class,are brought under the Income Tax net.
