by gopal gk on Feb 12, 2010 05:54 PM  Permalink

Dear All.,
We need a clean train, for that there should be dust bins to collect waste food plates and other stuffs and it should be cleared 2 times a day and the the toilet waste should not directly go to the tracks it has to be collected separately and dispose somewhere.this makes more people travel a disease free and also covers more foreign travelers by Indian Railways.Indian Government should take care on this to improve the quality of Indian Railways for international standards. Also strictly it has to be followed atleast they can implement in Rajthani or some express trains at initial stage.

Senior Citizens
by vijay rao on Feb 12, 2010 05:49 PM  Permalink

Dear Finance Minister,
Kindly reduce the age for qualifying as a Senior Citizen to 60 years from 65 years now. Pl tell me which company or Government gives employment till the age of 65 years in India. Railways give senior citizens benefit for travellers at the age of 60 years. Pl be practical and pl apppreciate the difficulties the senior citizens face. Most do not even get a decent pension.

Govt. should not need more than 10% tax
by Mr Walker on Feb 12, 2010 05:49 PM  Permalink

There are taxes and taxes everywhere and where the money goes no one knows.

Govt. should not need anything more than 10% of total individual income to do its job anything else is unnecessary and wasted and converts to black money.

Scrap all other taxes like Octroi,VAT,excise.....

Enhance the limit for IT exemption under 80C,80D
by Manoj Tiwary on Feb 12, 2010 05:44 PM  Permalink

Dear Finance minister we request you to kindly enhance the limit from Rs1 lac to 2lacs for investments and also salary upto 3lacs should be exempted from I.Tax.
I feel that these two tax benefits will definitely restore confidence in middle class as well as salaried people who are facing the burden of steep price-rise of all essential commodities.

Clerical Indians
by iota on Feb 12, 2010 05:42 PM  Permalink

To save Rs 10, we spend Rs 9. Real saving is only Rs 1, which is not worth the time and effort.

Tax everyone at 20% flat rate. No If and buts.
SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY.

Complexity is the hallmark of small minds.
