We the salaried class are paying the incometax 100%. Wht about others? Pl give relaxations to the salaried class. Dont charge tax on perquisite. Kindly abolish atleast for the salaried class. You should consider raising the limit atleast 5 lakh. I hope FM will do it this time for us

Income Tax for Salraied PSU GOV employees
by sarvesh kumar on Feb 17, 2010 07:43 AM  Permalink

Dear FM!
Please see the inflation rate and dearness, prices of all essentail commodoties. In spite of revision of pay scales it is hard to meet two ends needs. Income tax deducted 33% from the salary at source. Several taxes like Excise duty, customs, Vat, CST GST State Sales tax, local taxes, octroy, service tax, STT and may more. If all taxes implication is worked out it would be 65 % taxes paid by the employees and net result is very poor state of affairs for gov employees ( exclude some privileged employees). FM sir, please reduce income tax rate, increase 0% tax slab to 12 lakhs and tax rate 10, 15 and 20%. remove all cess, sucrcharges etc. Give benefit of Standard deductions, 80 C and hose loans benefits top 5 lakhs.

Hope you would consider this.
