All Nationalized Banks and the Indian Railways accept 60 years as the age for Sr Citizens. Why not streamline it and make it same for Income Tax too? Thank you, Sir. Yours faithfully Col RN Kakar, Retd

Our expectation in the upcoming budget is to increase the income tax exemption limit from 160000 to 250000 for the current financial year 2009-10 as the inflation is increasing and rates on fixed deposits are decreasing.
Hounorable Finance Minister, Request your honour to kindly look in to the saving limit under section 88 to increase from one lakh to two lakhs atleast. Regards
Its high time Sir, that u see the rate of tax deduction is reduced. A man earns but is subjected to half his income being cut 4 the last financial yr. The job, the risingprices, children education can hardly be met with & the common man has nothing to do but commit suicide. Hope u'll kindly see to the matter with some time.

Dear Sir, I hope we the government staff are the ones who pay the tax sincerly and it is we who had been heavily taxed by the government. Even within the government staff, there is different tax slab for ladies which should also be extended to gents because in case of a male employee most of the time he alone will be the bread earner. I sincerly request our Finance Minister Minister to make the tax benefits favaourble to govt staff.
