I hear a lot about income tax officials harassing people. They should not work as police but as tax consultant. If done so, next time they will be respected.
There is too much Govnt Interferance in people's life. That should be minimised.
Respected Hon'ble Finance Minister, In the comming budget we request you to kindly give some concession to salaried people who draws salary less than Rs. 5 Lakhs. Earlier the government had given concession in the form of Standard Deducation which was subsequently withdrawn. Now the present Income Tax Rate is same for Salaried people and the for business people. The business people are claiming various expenses and reducing their Income. What about salary peoples expenses such as lunch, conveyance expenses, attire, and various other incidental expenses. Why this punishment for the salaries peple. I request you kindly consider some relief to salaried people and do-not treat the salaried people who are drawing salry less than Rs. 5 Lakhs at par with businees community.
as the income tax is levied heavily on salaried class, you may consider provisioning of higher rebates against housing loan so that the slaried class can atleast think of making a house. Now its only self meals and tax to govt.

The salaried class suffers a lot financially in the form tax in the income.some measures should be adopted to minimise the money deducted from salary in the form of income tax.the money saved then can be used for investment purposes,which in turn will be beneficial for the nation.
Kindly Make things simple. There are too many factors to calculate tax. Makes things confusing.
1. Increase the limit to 10 lakhs. 2. Filing should not be compulsary for those who earn less than 10 lakhs per year. 3. There should not be any benefit on the basis of savings. (Those who could not save anything should not be treated as traitors).
Have only one tax system. Remove all taxes on commodities.
