Collect all the dues first
by Sundar Iyer on Feb 03, 2010 01:48 PM  Permalink

First set yourself target to collect all the outstanding taxes from corporate houses and MP/MLs.

Second stop all the subsidies.

If this is done, you will have plenty of money to spend for development.

Control Rising Prices
by sunitha rk on Feb 03, 2010 01:04 PM  Permalink

Hello FM,

This is a very major concern that is bothering all the citizens of india especially the Middle class and the poor people

The basic amenties like rice ,wheat , sugar, milk , dhal are sky rocket prices which is being very difficult for the comman man to reach. These prices will always shoot up and never come down

With these soaring prices how can the comman man live and give the children the education and make his ends meet.

I request all the basic amenties including petrol should be bought down since we have to survive in this country.

Also regarding the tax the salaried people are always targeted leaving the rich people and hence poor people will remain poor in this country

It is high time that our country's corruption needs to be ended and strict rules need to be done as this already done in very small and less developed countries rather than India

Hope our cries are listened and alteast some problems are sorted out

Better Policies
by Pardeep Rawat on Feb 03, 2010 01:03 PM  Permalink

Government needs to control the Price rise as it straightly impact the common man.....
Steps Needs to ne taken or Policy to be formulated :
1) Effectively measure our productivity & assure its distribution in right hands
2) Control the practice of "storing the Products & sell them on higher prices when demand rises".
3) Farmers & Agricultural manufacturers must have a direct interaction with govt officials without involving the middlemen.
4)Govt must promote those daily use products which comes under the purview of daily necessities of a ommon man by providing appropriate rebate or tax ducuction/exemption to make these things available at very reasonble rates.
