Medical Reimbursement
by Vithal on Feb 04, 2010 09:27 AM  Permalink

Hi,
I feel the medical reimbursement of rs 15000/- per year needs a major change.
These days medical costs have gone up, eg: consultation fees for doctors is 300/- min.
At the same time cost of the medicines that are prescribed are high.
With growing age many are suffering from BP , diabetes. Which requires regular medication.
With parents and small kids it further adds.
For eg: Many of my friend exhaust their quota of rs. 15000/- by the end of November month itself.
Hence i strongly feel that this medical reimbursement component for tax benefit should be revised for say rs.20000/-.

My money is Aam Congress money
by ratan goswami on Feb 04, 2010 07:51 AM  Permalink

Every year they impose high tax ( put tax on perks) and they travel with free rides on toll tax ways - why/
Why external affairs minister the great Krishan stays 5 months in a 5 star hotel at our cost of 1lac rupees a day and Shashi tharoor another free 5 star guy.
Noone is bothered about price rise poor planning and due to Maharastra election released all sugar buffer stock so you and i buy at @45 /Kg.
Now add more tax take away benefits and great congress make AAM AADMI a Mango man ( which is not sweet now sour).

Tax collection
by amit sharma on Feb 03, 2010 11:16 PM  Permalink

Honbl'e finance minister i have one food for thought i.e. can we have some kind of law where we can tax a nominal ammount say Rs. 2000 PA from unorganised sector business doing people of india. for e.g a kiryana shop owner he may or may not be able to analyse profit or loss but fixed amount he should pay. if we can tap 20-30 % of unorganised sector revenue collecttion can go up.

Thanks
Amit Sharma

Tax Exemption Limit
by Mahesh Patil on Feb 03, 2010 09:26 PM  Permalink

Dear Sir,
Tax Exemption Limit is as we understand that the annual amount for earning person need for his/her besic neccessities to survive.
This year you may find much more price rise in all of the basic needs just like food, vegitables, cloths, electricity, etc. is much much more than average expences of last 10 - 15 years.
You may find this a very common complaint of common Indian. There are so many reasons for the same let us not discuss them here. I am not complaining for the same too.

Here I want to say that looking at the senario of the whole market of consumables, common man's earning : "THIS IS MUST TO INCREASE TAX EXEMPTION LIMIT UPTO A REMARKABLE LEVEL."

This is not my alone request but whole country's common man's request to you SIR.

Hope for the best.
