When economies crashed ( ve to -ve inflation), food prices never reduced. When economies recovered (-ve to ve inflation), food prices are doubling. But, salaries dont get doubled. Heavy income tax cuts are required to sustain common man's living.
As you know due to official purposes there are movement of families from one state to another. No one pays tax as taking NOC from one state RTO and Registering at other state involves lot of money and they have to bribe. I would suggest an easy online payment method where the person can pay 1 year or 6 months road tax so that each one will pay the tax since this wont be the trouble and will reduce bribery. Please treat this as a high priority and no cumbersome business should be involved!
My Father was reqular Tax payer and he had paid quite some towards Tax. but when he was retired, there will be lot of medical or personal things which they will require money, when he was getting operated for an Heart Surgery, we had shell out a Huge money towards it around 1.75Lakh, we struggled at that time. Why can Government provide some valid support when they are old, or not with a Job or some pension. When Farmers and others are taken care why not Tax payer...
It could be pleasure for us if income tax limit for individual is enhanced to atleast 3.0 lacs and savings to be enhanced from 1 lacs to 2 lacs. Regards

yes i agree too! most of the brain in the country is only because the savings potential in our country is low! It would be a very good idea if this was done... Good think Ashok!

I would like to have an index on all existing tax cuts. All the tax slabs etc. shuld automatically get increased based on inflation rate at least if not the central govt. DA rate.
