"With a new wave of career opportunities in the country, employees are more likely to switch jobs in the next one year, according to a survey".
But in umpteen number of articles Rediff tries to project that the Modi govt has failed and the future is bleak; now which one would Rediff want us to believe ??
She pulls at my heart strings! If I was her colleague, I would have been shattered to see her leave. The prospect of not seeing her again would have been unbearable !
The tag line is correct, but there are various reasons for the same.
It could be due to high frustration in an organization, also adding to the fact the organization works at its own pace and young workforce can't wait for that.
The middle management of any organization is 60-65% good for nothing as 50% of these are taken in the organization in lieu of support from bureaucracy and rest being upgraded as so called company policy.
From your survey and article it is clear that a majority of the candidates intend to change the job but the group selected for the survey is not the candidates who have joined their present jobs less than six months ago. Therefore you have all types of candidates who plan to leave in the next 12 months and not the ones who have recently joined the present organisation.

Thanks. I thought I was the only nutty person here!
In private companies days are gone where merit was sole criteria for chosing a job. As there is no job security, no PF, no leave, working at odd hours, employees find it best to hop, skip and jump. The days of loyalty to the company is gone. It is age of survival.
