Ajanta and Ellora Caves
Mysore Palace
Kanyakumari
Mahabalipuram temple
Meenaxi Temple
Gol Gumbaz, Bijapur
Hampi
Golconda Fort

The author probably did not visit rest of India - other than Delhi & Rajasthan.

rediff,should shun this kind of nation dividing articles.does this tropadvisor knows that there is south india and bout HAMPI?? among so many other landmarks in KARNATAKA,TN.KERALA AND AP??? Is this a ploy to hardsell Rajasthan????

A foreigner will thinK that this is the only paces in India!!
