I don't want to create a north-south debate, but I find women comparatively safer in the south. Females work in Chennai late into nights and I haven't heard of any incidents.

I find the regulation of Women should not work beyond 8 PM strange. Are we slowly becoming a Saudi or Taliban?

I agree with u... leaving a few incidents, south india is much more safer in general. I have lived in both parts of the country. So i can say this confidently. It is easier for a girl to walk out of the house at 11 PM in bangalore than in Delhi.
Even the eve-teasing, which is everyday nuisance in north, do not exist (or very limited) in southern cities.

who walks at 11 pm out of house every one knows...those who have modesty will be at home at that time...

it is only the price when not paid, it becomes crime otherwise every body knows what...some part of india care modesty more than just any thing and that makes the matter...those want business they walk out..

VERY RIGHT why should one venture out at 2 am we also do not dare to go out at that hour. INDIA is the SAFEST place in world but INDIAN thinks that anybody going out beyond 9 pm alone is LOOSE and hence they dare to do these things. only solution is females should not work in night there enough boys who can have JOBS if this rule is followed girls are good at teaching why they can school and do the BEST thing possible of TEACHING all problems are solved and the LEVEL of educated children will also IMPROVE from the present level

Why are you holding that single incident of one person? That too, he probably kept mum without taking much action rather than being the sole architect of it. Infact, when he requested the center (Congi) for help, they didn't respond in time but after everything was done. Congi played its own politics here.

Putting it aside, why don';t u think about all the atrocities happening across the country since decades by those t* grps? Do u remember Kashmiri pandits? Why the atrocities done by congi (so called gandhi family) are forgotten? r u aware of atrocities done/still happening on h* in our neibouring countries? Why can't u remember all that but stuk with a single incident in the entire Indian history
