Is the height correct?
by Leader on Jun 04, 2012 09:05 PM  | Hide replies

Tallest as per Britannica is Angel falls at 3,212 ft.

According to Rediff it is Bhagsu Waterfall: Mcleod Gunj, Himachal Pradesh; Height: 7112 ft

Is this Mean Sea Level that Rediff is talking of?

If so, Did I miss reading the mention of this disclaimer?

Rediff, do your research properly before reporting. Jog falls is one of great water falls in India. Please do not make the readers eat half cooked food.

The waterfall of river Narmada at Jabalpur is locally known as Bedaghat fall. The water fall is formed as the river cleaves through steep marble rock formations.Local artists sell marble boxes, caskets and small figurines of elephants.Don't buy the elephants as they get 'truncated' and disintegrate soon after.

The author should rephrase the heading as "7 most breathtaking waterfalls in India I HAVE SEEN". That way readers will understand that there are plenty more bigger and beautiful falls around.
