some least known waterfalls are included, why not Jog Falls the best and the highest in India? Get this article corrected immediately.

Rediff please hire reporters with some GK and IQ. Making a list of waterfalls in India without Jog Falls is like making a list of waterfalls in USA without Niagara.

Tirathgarh & Chitrakoot Falls in Chhattisgarh

These falls are located in Bastar (Distt), 300 kms from Raipur. Tribal Area, Abundance of Breathtaking Beauty. Unfortunately, the area is disturbed due to naxal presence / violence. However, how could rediff missed such a beauty of a place.

True. The Chitrakoot falls are called the Niagara of India. The water falling from a height of over 100 ft. and so wide looks breathtaking. If you go to the point where the water touches the ground, you can forget yourself and be watching it all day long. Such is the beauty of these falls.

Where is Jog Falls in Karnataka which is world famous. It is the highest falls in India!
