Waterfall of 7112 ft
by siva krishnan on Jun 05, 2012 04:41 PM  | Hide replies

Bhagsu Waterfall: Mcleod Gunj, Himachal Pradesh; Height: 7112 ft

The tallest Angel Fall is only 3212 ft.

Write the height of the falls, not the place where it is located.

Not sure when Rediff will get qualitative editors with brain to write articles.

Also, the tallest waterfall in India, Jog falls is not even in the list. Most of the falls listed in the article dont even stand near to it.

Grow up rediff, you can't fool around for a long time.

Better get your facts right first. Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest waterfall in India. Its height is 1100 feet (335 metres). The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.

If in a list of spectacular waterfalls of India, the waterfalls located at Cherapunjee in Meghalaya don't get a mention, the list has got no meaning. All these falls look ordinary in comparison to the ones in Cheerapunjee. To check for yourself, have a look at Meghalaya tourism website.

Breathtaking ?
by vijay rajan on Jun 05, 2012 03:08 PM

I wonder why Nohkalikai Falls in Meghalaya the tallest waterfall in India located near Cherrapunji (height of 1100 feet) & Jog Falls in Karnataka (height 830 feet) are not worthy of being considered as breathtaking by Rediff & Tripadvisor.in ????

This Waterfall is seen immediately after Narmada takes its origin at Amarkantak. It is named after kapil sage who had his Ashram near the falls. This is in Madhya pradesh
There is a huge waterfall at Ozarde in Amboli Ghat in Kokan Maharashtra. This fall can be seen from around 1 KM away.It falls into a deep valley .Its impossible to see where the water falls.

Rediff has become nonsense.. no truth in single article.. even commenting is waste of time.
