The first sentence of this arcticle contradicts the second sentence. First sentence says that this scooter will take on Suzuki's access and Piaggio's Vespa. Second sentence says Honda ( Activa,etc., etc., ) have 45 % market share. Is Yamaha going to take on the minority market of Suzuki and Vespa ( yet to get a grip on the market ) For all you know, Vespa might not click at all !!! Suzuki's access is yet to prove its mettle. Honda's activa has got the LION's share of the market b'cos it was advertised as a scooter for Men and Women alike ! Hero Honda Pleasure scooter also commands a good market share. So who are the Yamaha's taking on ???? . With its 10 BHP of power and 9 Nm of torque, it might not appeal to the majority of womenfolk. The works are also masculine. Ladies may therefore keep away. The target market is therefore ...... who ????............

Well said, Yamaha knows its way. Yamaha will create a mrket of its own, like FZ-16 did, which I am a proud owner.

all these scooters are confined to 125 cc strength,the honda eterno a 150 cc, lml vespa 150 cc and the bajaj chetak 150 cc were all rugged scooters,the scooter makers shud not fancy appearnce endurance shud be the watchword most middleaged men need 150 cc scooters for the rugged indian roads.
