Over Priced Homes

I feel that builders and real estate developers are minting money as the price of a flat/bungalow is way way way too high for the reach of the moderate people. WE should teach them a lesson and create a peoples forum where the price can be controlled. What say????

Can't say for sure but every Saurday when you open the two page "Proprty Supplement" of any newspaper you only see a now or never scenario.Trust me, had the Rupee appreciated, you would have seen another article stating "n reasons why a RISING rupee means SUPER EXPENSIVE homes".Buy property, but understand the difference between price and value.

Before the prices fall, the building itself will fall. Indian builders are the most corrupt and they mostly build structures that are not sound.

Paid article from real estate companies
by surya nagarajan on Jan 10, 2012 12:52 PM

When you get foreclosure homes for so less and when every NRI knows that this could be the bottom to invest in real estate in the other countries, why would they invest at such high prices in India? A decent home will not cost less than 7-75 lakhs in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkatta or Delhi and for that much money you can get better homes in other countries.
Transportation cost is the only direct cost related to oil for the real estate industry and that too it has to be only diesel for cranes, generator, trucks etc. No way diesel prices are going to go up no matter elections or not and whichever party is controlling the govt.
Is this article trying to fool Indian residents to invest now in real estate?
Only sensible truth in this article is that real estate developers don't want to reduce the prices.

a conspiracy theory doing rounds
by arun bharadwaj on Jan 10, 2012 12:38 PM

Interesting Conspiracy Theory :- The Rupee depreciates. RBI does not intervene much. A qualified foreign investor is allowed as an individual to now invest directly in stocks. The limit is over and above the FII limit. Swiss banks will not share data before april.... Does this mean that a road is paved for the politicians to bring their money back at high rupee and low stock prices into their favoured and controlled companies?? If this is correct then politically connected stocks will perform. Something to think about and start noticing.

Because Indian rupee symbol is unlucky, why becoz their is RAHU marked in it and it is ill omen so throw new rupee symbol and bring one which is simple and humble one.

We have great looking flag which conquers nothing, we have well versed national anthem which does not bring patriotism in people. We have biggest democracy which itself labiality on nation.

Uchi Dukaan Phika Pakwaan!!!

dont agree with you on symbol. other all correct - on flag and anthem. everyone knows that anthem was for british royals. what a shame we still continue with that slavery. and "how thoughtful" and patriotic for someone to write that for the masters who (mis)ruled us. I would rate KAvi Pradeep much higher than this gentlemen who was lauding the then rulers.

but with CON-crass in power we can say we are still ruled by angrez only the country has changed, continent is same.
