Yes it is vexed Q.Moderate Risk of Lusty ogling andLiberty
by D goel on Jun 13, 2011 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

D, Goel Pkl. afternoon,2.30pm,Tuesday, June 13,2011.
Being temperamentally a liberal upholder of Personal Liberty for all men /Women or Child ,I cannot support by Social prescription/ banish provocative Gear of some of our crazy young ladies! They ,however should be informed by elders of their family that they are inviting Lusty ogles on their exposing erotically their Sex.If they kick up rows of adolescents pushing themselves to grope them in busy malls or public Trasport they have to fend for themselves, as it is our Danda weilders would not be willing to help- them.If they are compulsive Risk -Takers , they are welcome to this sort of Provocative dress.

If you expose or dress sexy it will never be a problem or trouble.
Trouble starts when you dress something which does not suit your status. Sorry I am blunt but this happens, you have to dress according to your Social Status and locality where you live.

IF women were not attractive, no men would have looked at her, forget about having any sexual advancement and human species would have exitinted long back.

Looking attractive alone is not a pass for men to rule over her, it rather needs loose character and immoral upbringing to think such way. Apart from Delhi, most rape cases reported in Rajasthan where women used to dress tradionally still ill will of some of us manage to commit the most disgussting act to humanity.

Prerogative

Its our choice to dress the way we want. Skimpy dresses should not invite crime. No doubt, they may be a visual treat and should just be that.

swarup has a point here.

* we keep our doors locked at night to save our home from burglars (probably 0.1% of population). But yes, you have to choice to keep it open as you want.

* If we have diabetes, we cut down on sugar to protect our health. But yes, those people with diabetes have the choice to eat sugar as they want.

* can add more to list, but guess the message is clear.

Meghana, no one is debating here how you want to dress. No one is telling you how to dress. You certainly have the choice to dress the way you want.

The question asked is, is it safe if you dress provocatively? Well certainly not in most cases where you may have to encounter a not-so-good situation or not in a good company.

But, yes this cannot be the reason to excuse some ill-deed by someone, just as a burglar would not be let off just because the house was not locked.

Use your judgment wisely. Better take precaution then be sorry.

no need to worry from 95% male... but protect yourself from the rest ill-minded males who get provoked by skimpily dressed women. So, first try to protect your dignity yourself. Get real

The argument if so frivolous. If a person keeps his house unlocked, can he complain that the house was burgled? There is no Utopia in this world as yet.
