Morrocco was a part of todays subcontinent geographically. Historiaclly trade between India and Morrocco was established in ancient past. Culture percolates.Bollywood is not culture .It is serious business to make tons of money.Bollywood tries to hijack culture.Traditions will oppose it.Its important to know how many of those words are outside bollywood. If most are fromBollywood .Then the Business of 'Culture' is accepted to be winning. HA
Hindi is not the language of Bollywood movies at all..it is 90% Urdu. any foreigner who would take Hindi lessons, cannot understand Bollywood movies at all. Bollywood is heavily Islamicized, with unintelligible Arabic & Persian diction. Most songs are composed in Urdu with just a smattering of Hindi/sanskrit words.

You are right language used in most of the bollywood movies has 90% urdu (that includes songs). But recently musicians like amit trivedi are using lyrics in awad, pubjabi, rajastani etc basically mixture of different languages.

It's our tragedy that we have replaced our live language with the artificial one.. there is no surprise that even the students in cowbelt fail in hindi subject.

I've been to Agadir & Marrakesh in Morocco and he is right. People there do know a lot about Bollywood associated stars. They even sell the pirated CDs sometime with Arabic subtitle/language.

Even mauritius is same thing. Immigration offier will try to speak in hindi if he gets to know you are from India. And everyone ask if we have met Amitab or sanju baba. They have a great respect to our country.
