The concept of Mental accounting has been introduced by "Thaler". Thaler did the research on theatre ticket missing and cash missing and found the result. Thereafter everyone uses similar examples. Including Parag Parekh or Prof Raghunathan or ramalingam. There is no harm in this. Newton used apple to find graviational force. Even today we explain gravity with apple or orange.....

You are right, there is a regular column in outlook money written by Prof Raghunathan on behavioural finance. The gist & the examples of this article is more or less same as one of his recent column!!!
