Wonderful article

This article correctly portrays what an ideal entrepreneur should be. The Bhagvad Gita constantly extolls us to leave our egos behind. Ego is undoubtedly's man's biggest stumbling block which prevents him from reaching his full potential!

The article has wonderful ideas which every young person should imbibe.

In fact, I am a fan of Mr.Subroto Bagchi and have always admired his fresh insights and writing style!

I PICKED UP THIS BOOK ABOUT TWO WEEKS BACK. I AM READING IT JUST NOW & TRYING TO DIGEST MANY THINGS AS I READ IT. IT IS A WONDERFUL BOOK FOR EVEN PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WISH TO BECOME ENTERPRENEURS.

No ego?
by indraneel deb sikdar on Feb 16, 2007 04:36 PM

I dont think I will ever be an entrepreneur and your article does a good job of explaining the same to me. I only wonder if you meant to say "thick skinned" when you said no ego. I cant imagine lack of dignity would let me do a good job of a sales pitch.
But that could also be plain nitpicking!

Nothing happens before time. A good idea has its own space in the sun.I feel that all enterprises which flourish have a vision and a goal without which nothing happens.

Inspiring article
by MBSIVA RAMAKRISHNAN on Feb 16, 2007 03:56 PM

Right now, I am a small entrepreneur and into my business only for the past 10 months. At times I used to wonder, whether I can join any corporate, as I can enjoy all comforts including timely pay (which is not possible, while being an entrepreneur), the POWER OF THE CHAIR as you point out. Also the society does not respects an entrepreneur at his earlier ages.

The article of yours have surely created a vibration in me.

Thanks a lot.

Well Said !!

"If you don't love to make money, do not start a business."

In India, our parents teach us not to talk about money and dont be greedy. Majority of the young generation dont know the basis of financial planning.
Great article... cheers Rediff and author.. keep posting such artcile.
