Chamchas are STUPIDS
by Maya on Aug 17, 2007 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

I think it is not necessary to be a boss chamcha, as one of buddy said every boss needs an informer, again the wrong word at right place. why he needs a informer in his own place.

I suggest every organisation should have a good hierarchy, and each personnel should have know about their moral duties at workplace, because we are paying for what we having doing there.

Yes, the Chamchas are stupid. But they are the who get paid at the cost of sincere people. Some time the boss likes only young good looking lady employees as their Secretary (chamcha). These will people take all advantages and boss will not make any compliant even if they make blunders. Such mistakes are passed on less fortunate male employees working close to the boss. Some of these lady employees acts as so called PATHIVARTAS.

Boss's Chamcha
by Partha Sengupta on Aug 17, 2007 04:37 PM

If the boss is a chamcha, he will only recruit chamchas around him and the organisation will become a company of chamchas. If you take people lower than your caliber, so that they always remain a chamcha to you, your company will soon become a company of dwarfs. If you take people superior than your caliber, so that they can deliver better ideas to you, your company will become a company of giants.

Why boss needs a informer in his own place.Boss should have a very good management skills, instead of appointing chamchas, he should plan his management in such a way, where the process itself shows the performance of the indivisuals which results in the Overall company growth.

boss's chamcha

I generally find a person who is successful in an organization being labelled as boss's chamcha even if he had deserved the success by virtue of his talent and capabilities. It is human nature to envy the successful person.

I also find people with lesser talents going up fast in the career ladder (particulary in Government organizations)by being chamcha to their bosses. Of course getting to be boss's chamcha also requires some special talents. All are not able to do this.

Poem penned by Gangothri above is actually written by somebody else. It is good not to copy or say the truth that it is written by so and so. You can see this poem hanging in some old offices

Chamchas
by parshant singh slathia on Aug 17, 2007 04:07 PM

These stupid word is BOSS is limited to Indian offices only. If you work abroad, nobody call his superior by sir or boss. They call them by name, so it almost end Boss-Chamcha relation at that point.

Is it necessary to be a chumcha to grow in career?
by Shridhar Iyer on Aug 17, 2007 04:06 PM

Aug 18, 2007.

I don't think it is that necessary to be successful in ones career. In Pvt organizations, ones boss will decide about the progress or failure of an employee. However an upright and honest employee, will find a way out, even to tell a truth a boss may not like to hear. There lies the skill. Dont antagonise your boss, but also tell what you wanted to say in a manner that he doesnt feel offended and he understands what you want to convey. If you behave this way, I think ultimately the boss will understand who is right and who is a plain chumcha and may decide accordingly.

With best wishes,
Srinivasan.

Yes its a bitter truth of today, if you want to grow in an organisation you will have to do chamachagiri of your boss in some way or other otherwise you will see other non deserving coligues climbing ladders of success and you while keeping yourself on the same position for the year coming !

'Boss' chamcha = Successful employee'
by radhakrishnan chakkungal on Aug 17, 2007 04:02 PM

It is not necessary to be a chamcha of your boss provided you are an intelligent, hard working, appropriate decision making, truthful/trustworhty and useful to the organisation and your Boss also have the same qualities and interet/progress/healthiness of the Organisation in mind. If your Boss is not such a person and having only personal interst/progress/wealth in his mond and no sence of belonging or interest in well being of the Organisation still you donot have to be his chamcha if you do your duty as he tells you do to avoid the insubordination and only to justify your salary. But in such case always create an alibi or to keep his instruction noted in file/record as these kind of Bosses are capable of protecting their interest by making scape goat of others. If you are a man of self-respect and having the virtues stated above, any Boss will be respedting you, a little comprehensive of you and never wants to give responsibilities to chamchas skipping you as he knows his chamchas can change to some body elses' chamcha if he gets more benifit than now enjoying or the boss looses his position
