PROUD TO BE A CA
by aneesps on Jun 10, 2013 01:10 PM

CA is both tougher , brighter ,smarter and BETTER than MBA in all phases.Wearing coat and suit and sitting infront a laptop in classrooms is never a symbol of smartness, any one can do that.ICAI has never simply get pass out a ca student like most of the university and other national level examinations.SEE THE IMAGE AND STATUS OF A CA THAN A MBA HOLDER among public. you can trying the maximum to upholding the status of an mba holder but fails , only because of the quality of education provided by the both of the institutes. one hardworks for years but other for only 2 years. and onother thing is all the mba holders never reach ceo position instantly after their coures. but ALL CAS HAVE ELIGIBLE FOR CFO. one of the important quality of a profession is entry restriction, this is not satisfied many of the professional courses in india. IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH ME........... YOU CAN SIMPLY ASK TO THE PUBLIC WHO IS BETTER CA OR MBA........... PROUD TO BE A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

Why we are discussing this?

Actually I feel that this discussion has no end. I am a Chartered Accountant. I have seen many CAs who are earning in crore and many others who are earning average or even below the line. But do every MBA gets things as he expects. Definitely the answer is no. CA and MBA as a career are 2 different things. In functions, working expectations both are different. They are not substitute for each other but compliment for each other. CA profession has its own Prestige, opportunities ans so MBA. There is no comparison with that. But while choosing it, age and time in your hand plays a big role. Now people are discussing CA course need 4-5 years. But this period starts after 10 2 i.e. by the time u r 21-22 u r CA (off course if you managed to clear it in minimum attempts). In MBA it takes 2 years but it is after 10 2 3 and then 2 years (if you cracked CAT with good score). So in both cases you are 22. My personal opinion is if u want to go for CA start in early age. If you are at 10 2 and confused about decision, start appearing for CA, costwise it is one of the cheapest courses to do (entry is even lesser than many B.COM colleges Fees.) Try it. If you like & can clear it, good for you or after graduation MBA is there. CA MBA could be a value adding thing if you are going for Job in future. In long run your performance will escalate you but CA MBA can make you something different from crowd for grabbing more good opportunities. After all, making money requires skill & not edu

what nonsense this is ??
by abhinav kumar on Jan 10, 2013 05:16 PM

hello guys i am here nt to tell tht ca mba is superior and ca is inferior. i think the columinist has decided to gain some fast cheap publicity thts why she is writtng these nonsense.i wont say this is more good thn this. both the profession is extremely good and highly prestigious.if u r a rank holder ca u will get cream companies with top salaries and if u do mba from iim u ll get the same honour. in both the cases it is tough to be a rank holder ca and to be an iim student. so where is the question of tough and easy.untill u not puttng tht extra edge u cant b a ca or an mba.

What CA is doing !
by Vikas Kumar on Jun 25, 2011 03:17 AM  | Hide replies

My Room mate is a CA & CWA. And he is 3 Year older to me.
He pass HS with 74% in the year 2000, Since then he was doing CA, and he completed in the year 2009 and no he is working in PSU as Scale-I officer and getting Rs 35K odd salary per month.
I am his friend and passed HS with 54% in the year 2003, after that I joined B.Com and in 2006, I joined MBA from Grade-II B-school and completed in 2008. Now I am working as Analyst in PWC and getting Salary more thrice of him. and working for last 3 years while is working for last 1 year.
Then CA tell me which option is best.
Do CA for 8-10 years and after completing join private organisation with 30K salary or give PSU exams to join govt. job and take dowry from girl as he is CA working in Govt Organisation.

I did not meant to all CA's. But tell me How Many CA's out of 100 completed their course in 5 Years. There is less then 5.

Just give me simple answer.
KG 10 2 3 2= 18 Years or
KG 10 2 (3 7/8)=20/21 Years

Basic Mooto is earn money and live happily.
Profession is Profession.
If you do CA after lots of hard work start your own firm or else if you want to do job in govt sector just do graduation and take coaching for 1 year, then join any PSU as scale-I officer.
CA is much tougher then MBA.
MBA is much smarter then CA.
