Try Chinna (Seena Bhai's) one plate of Idlis sprinkled with generous ghee & chilly powder with green chutney(no Sambhar) tastes awesome and just melts in your mouth. You can also try his Onion utthappam.Both are very good.The place is on N S C Bose road in Sowcarpet Chennai. The road side Sandwich Stalls there also serves good bite for Rs.6 each. Then there is Butter Rani's Onion Dosa stuffed with generous amount of Butter & Onions. A pair served for about Rs.20/- with green chutney.
Walk into shop sellings kebabs in lanes of lucknow. Kebabs cost Rs 4/- each and rumali roties 2/-. Get ur combination of 2 hot kebabs + roti and 200 ml coke or 4 kebabs +2 roties......decide for urself......they are simple value for money and costs @20/- .....my mouth is already watering .........

If you have just Rs.20 in a place like Mumbai and that too in the area of Bandra, u must be joking.
However if u r hungry you can eat hot usal pav or misal for rs.11/- plus one vada pav for rs.5, total rs.16 and you are all set. Location is just opposite Globus theatre, near Bandra post office.
The next time you are there, dont forget to eat usal, and vada pav. They are just fantastic.

Hi After 20 years and a million pani-puri's later, I can say confidently that Guru-Kripa at Sion Jain Society, nest to SIES college serves the best pani-puri, chaat in mumbai. If in that area in morning do not forget to try their sindhi breakfast dish DAl PAKWAN,,,,,yummy! and filling allrates below 15/ each....great for low budgets like me Snehal
