Cheap and Best. It is one of my favourite street food and no body makes better than the one in Mansarovar Garden Market opposite Corner Sweets. The cost of one plate is only Rs. 5.

Street Food / Food in Bangalore.
by RB on Jul 27, 2006 01:00 PM

Bangalore lacks & backs in Good Street Food Culture or food eating culture as a whole , compared to any tire-II cities, leave alone metros.
There are big & samall , famous & not so famous resturants , food chains, fast food corners & darshinis.
Most of these(>95%) are OVER Priced & do not serve the quality food, although the menu items may be full of global & Indian cusines. The worst part is the quantity is very less compared to the price.
This city has become un-necessarily INFLATED like a hot air balloon as far as prices are concerned in every area.
Citizens wish it bursts ASAP.
Most people say this city is not the worth the price it demands for living. :-|

Nice comments on a meal less than 20 rupees. Are these hindu ideals? Instead of going for samosa round the corner, opt for omelette and chicken curry? Hey I thought Hindusthan was moving towards the revival of hinduism but it looks like the trend is totally opposite. Inter religious marriages are on the rise according to a report I read and chicken curry chosen over samosa?

Great hindus I see. Wonderful (Pat on the back) This is the way to go. Now I am going to read the report on sex before marriage. I dont think there is much left to be desired from the hindu society of the young and the backless.
