Hai chetan, you book is simply superb. I was into the character of Shyam(sam). The way they got their names was so cute. Bakshi's witty character is hilarious. What is your next book? Can we expect even "ON@TCC" as a movie???

awesome stuff...
by Ajit on May 31, 2006 10:52 PM

hey chetan!!
i have read both your books. I must say that i hated reading books but when i read these my perceptions have changed. They keep you tied up till the end. Infact it would be correct to say that i could imagine things happening in front of me, as if i was a part of it. It actually stimulates the readers tastebuds right from the first page.

May i ask you a question? Are these stories true...? I will be waiting for more books from you. My best wishes to you..... and HOW IS NEHA???? and does IIT Delhi ever had Prof. Cherian???? Lots of questions are there in my mind.. may be sometime in my life I get to see you and get myself relieved of them..

Cheers
Ajit

Natasha
a good book
by Natasha on Mar 07, 2006 12:50 PM

Hi Chetan,
Ur book is indeed very good and can say, is close to reality of what youth are facing today. but why have you spoken only about the negative aspects of the call center? many people are not aware of the working situation in the call center. and after reading your book and with the help of media, are seeing only the negative parts. you yourself mentioned in ur interview that people work in call center to get more money or are not quite able to do other jobs well. then there are people who join it for other reasons as well. you didn't have any character mentioning the other reasons. no one who is really keen to work and make a career in call center. ok, the situation u took of a bad manager, could not make Shyam's aspirations come true... but that could happen anywhere.

although i dont work in a call center now, i have worked there in past and have friends whose aspirations have not died.

So, you missed something, Mr. Writer.

parag
Hi chetan

Hi,
This is parag , I read five point someone.According to me something is lagging in tht story. Its a good carricature at the start , but that is the big drawback.Coz it cajoled us to think bout fictional lineup of the story. But it is presented in such a way tht it seems real , but as far as I concerned its impossible.I do like the story coz it leads to catharsis for a loosers like me and cajoled me to lead a life like hari. Its an undeniable charisma which enable winner attitude in loosers. But i m sure it can be ameliorated and will create a craze among the youngsters. Its jst need a touch tht create a trust among the readers. Well i m waitin for a better version of five point someone
