Hi, I have just invested Rs. 30000/- in Bajaj Allianz Co. in unit gain plus scheme. I wanted to know it is right decision to invest in as it covers both return and insurance.
Hi, In previous year's NSC investment, we get some interest. Earlier this interest was considered as an investment for this year. Does it hold still? For example, say i get interest less than Rs.12000(note that this amount i don't get in hand). Can i include this amount in this year's investment under section 80C?

I know that if I take a LIC on my wife's name, I can include that amount for my Income Tax purpose. If I take NSC, can I put that for my IT purpose ? Please clarify.
Does it mean that any investment like Infra. Bonds, LIC, NSC, KVP taken on wife's name can be considered for husband's tax calculations ?
hi there, I think one topic that hasn't bee touched here is the liquidity aspect of investments, which is also another major criteria. Like for example, in case of PPF, if i am not mistaken, i think the 15 year PPF scheme investments are only allowed as a deduction, and many other such caps as to the minimum lock in period. I would like to know the full details as to these minimum lock-in periods too.
