Please tell where I can attach donation reciepts inorder to claim income tax exemption.

I am a salaried person with tution fee of Rs.13866/- p.a & LIC Prm of about Rs.9828/- p.a. Can the full amount of Rs.13866/- Rs. 9828/- be claimed as exempted from tax? Total Annual Income is Rs.135527/-. Please advice.

Dear Umesh,
is it salaried income?
if it is salary every individual can do up to 100000 as saving to reduce tax liability after deducting conveyance and PT
u can take LIC premium

Mr Umesh you can save upto 1lakh through different investments.Insurance is one among them which can provide you cover also.

Dear,
U can invest up to 100000
in PPF
or LIC giving better returns which are tax free again

I have read on the internet that LIC policies cannot be used for tax benefits. Guys is this really true?? Please please let me know.
