Does PPF comes under section 80C or 88?

r u sure that the tax saving amount to be invested in PPF is subject to a maximum limit of Rs 70,000.00 even after the new budget.

I think that we can invest upto Rs 1,00,000.00 for this Financial Year. Pls confirm.

A correction is needed in this article.The maximum amount that can be invested per year in PPF has been increased to 1 lakh in this years budget.
