Dr Singh should shun tantrums shown by Karuna and possibly use this as a window to appoint suitable candidates to the ministerial positions. A CM blatantly spending so much time in Delhi along with his kin, to secure favours for his children more than the DMK itself is really a shame on all Indians and Tamilians. There are so many pressing issues affecting the common man and it is easy to judge how the administration is being run. One of his sons allegedly goaded goons to murder a former minister and 3 were killed in the attack on Sun TV in Madurai.It is a huge disgrace to the nation!!

y would you blame tamilians for karunidhi's selfish goals. they just did not realise his politcal astuteness. he made sure his haters will get confused between jaya and vijayakanth. even maharashtrians fell for the same trap. i am proud of india for being amazingly truly democratic inspite of diversity and bad politics.

CRITICISING CONGRESS IS NOT CRITICISING DR.SINGH PERSONALLY.
HE SERVES ( LEADS ) A PARTY THAT MANY CONSIDER PRO-MUSLIM PARTY. IT HAS USED INDIAN ARMY AS ITS CHAPRASEES,OTHERWISE WHY DID WE HAVE TO RETURN THE LARGE CHUNKS OF LAND TO PLEASE BHUTTO?
Rediff, pls dont take this off, even if congressis dont like this. We also sent our army in srilanka wrongly and unprepared and that is the root cause of the most deplorable and unfortunate consiquesses. We all know this. ayaworderney, the lanka pres.had threatened to bring in the Pakis. That could have been wonderful, as they would suffer more than Indian Army and bleed.
To all BJP Supporters: I understand that it was a great setback to all of you narrow minded people, but please stop crying now and support the great leader Mr Manmohan Singh. I feel sorry when I see all of you writing negative every time about Mr Singh. Please start thinking ve and bring positive changes in this country. The Congress suffered for that, and YOU know it. But what I am trying to emphasize here is that, terrorism is not something that BJP can and would have put a lid on. And here is a logical rejoinder to your logical question: What about attack on Parliament, Red Ford, et al?

There is no Magical drink to solve the terrorism menace....what i expected was to have a initiative....Making Promises that we would remove POTA as soon as we come to power is a cheap political move to gain minority votes....and finally after they have cme up with the same laws under diffrent name after mumbai attack....u wont realize this issue until u actually go through what happened with people....and all we hear is we shd protect Muslims frm police atrocities...THE IM founder is finally released because police couldnt extract evidence in the one week given by the court and he is released on bail....if it was a pota court the police would have had 2 months remand for him....talking about hindutva is crime but people advocating SIMI is secular.....

The points narrated above indicate that elected representative need not become Cabinet Ministers. India must be having similar capable Performers. At least for a five year period such persons should govern the Country.
