Prakash,

Dont place your judgements this way and do not abuse this man by calling him a 'servant'. Who says he lacks energy? Surviving 5 years in the murk of indian politics as a PM with opposition creating havoc every single day and not missing a chance to pounce on him; do you really think that he has just 'survived' by chance and not coz of the various merits he holds as a person? Pity, that there are educated poeple like you who still do not understand what is good for the country and what is not.

There is no doubt that MMS is a servant of Sonia Parivar. Even China knows this and did not invite him and his family to Olympics, instead it invited the Super PM and her family.

Put the things you really know ... ! do you know Manmohan singh is not invited for olympics. This is a real crap ... a false note. And Prakash you assume people with energy in their voices and controversy in their speeches are only people who can become leader .. that's true.. MMS is not belong to that group. That is the reason he had never won loksabha election even as a PM. But he is Mr clean, his actions as Governor of RBI and Ministry of Finance and PM are exemplary , I can confidently say no one in opposition can match him for his excellency as candidature ... If possible can you one name one good candidate (with out black mark) you know in the opposition as a PM of this country ... ?

the election in great india
by sathyanarayan iyer on May 23, 2009 11:12 AM  | Hide replies

Congress has overwhelmingly won, though individualy it poled only around 29% of total wotes.

People ask whether indian did not find any other leader other than Sonia. Yes they did not, coz there is no body. Let us first name one single individual who is above board.

Sonia, though foreginer by birth, yes she organised a party, reposed confidance on people, selected one economist as the PM, who is a non politician. She has guided the Nation in the right path. Yes what is wrong in bringing Rahul on the forefront, if he has the metal.

Those who shout at Gandhi family on various counts of dynastic rule could be compared to the story of fox "Grapes are sour"

Admittedly congress might have erred on many fronts. But they took step to remedy it.

Yes they kept the DMK as ought to have been.No body can ask for post ony for family members. Less said the beter. Tamil people deserve the treatment they got, becuase they failed to identify the right person.

OH brahmins the lot talks lot, but when it come to action they fail.

In this pathetic scene the congress only is the National party having National outlook.
May be there are short falls yet there is no alternationve to this party.

Some critize the Gandhijis agreemntt separate pakistan. Imangine if we have not searted Pakistan then, to day we would not have the democratic India, we would have gone the same way as that of Pakistan,

Mr.Sathyan,
Your statments are contradicting itself. You say yes to Rahul on the grounds of Gandhi family and oppose DMK for bargining! Secondly, when you talk of separation of Pak.. it would not have been what PAK is to-day.. India would have been "AKHAND BHARAT"

How getting 29% vote and 206/545 is overwhelming win? Yr statements r contradictory. Cong is the worst political party in the country, having promoted nepotism (dynastic control of party), corruption, appeasement of minorities etc.

Gandhi ji's decision of divinding pakistan was good but asking muslims to stay was NOT. Today(also in future) scenario would have been better, had he not not done it.

prime minister is more economist than a popular national leader.rather more dedicated to sonia and rahul.the latter two are more popular than the pm and opposition leader.singh can not take populist majour for the intrest of the nation.he is only a ballancing figure without accepting any risk.
