Re: why ADVANI changed his decision to retire? PM in waiting for
by Bhupinder Singh on May 21, 2009 05:07 PM
Hariani agarwals, Sindis and Punjabis have to occupy some more states and business sectors of the country.
Leaders who have promised to support Congress Government uncconditionally, have now started sharpening their knives to cut their pound of flesh. With the presence of such leaders like, Karunanidhi, Madam Mumtha Banerjee, Amar Singh, Laloo Pershad, Mayavati, and Ajit Singh,in the Cabinet, it will be impossible to carry out policies of Congress, smoothly. There will be definite attempts to highjack the policies at every step. The Congress Government with Prime minister Manmohan Singh, must be given a free hand to run the Govt., and formulate its policies without any interference of any kind, be it interna or external from such forces mentioned above. The best course at this juncture, though appears to be difficcult but not impossible, I find no reason why it should not be tried. Leaders must show political sagacity and maturity at this time forgetting all their personal differences. It is the need of the time. People of India have elected to be ruled by Congress and wanted the B,J,P., to sit in the opposition for coming five years. Fine, if this has been the verdict. It would be magnanimous on part of B.J.P ., to lend an unambiguous complete support, whole heartedly without any element of blackmailing for full five years from outside, without joining the government, forgetting a the differences. It would be an exemplory example and tradition led by a party which has lost. It is then a good lesson would be taught to these selfish parties.

???Congress is in power because they were successful in getting both communal and secular muslim vote as well as sizable chunk of divided Hindu vote. BJP does not matter.

"People of India have elected to be ruled by Congress and wanted the B,J,P., to sit in the opposition for coming five years"
why should bjp give support to the govt ? the people wants them to oppose them in whatever form they can.

It is really a nice policy and which should be thought around in the future so that the regional parties stick on to the region rather than spoiling the whole country Well Said and Nice Concept

BJP did not oppose:it obstructed parliament.people gave them the reward.
more than half of the message on this page seems to be about advani and bjp losing election with some abuses instead of talking about govt taking oath and challenges they should look at. with this attitude of fokut and imature indian public my country would remain developing country even after 100 years.

JGN you cannot guess who believes what, every person have his own thinking, if one is muslim means you cannot tell what he thinks and beleives. The word 72V I got to know from this discussion board only, even if I get 72V I will ask god I don't need that what I need is my wife who gave me the company on the earth. So don't think all the people think similarly.

i'd really like to have all that. However, can Mr Advan1 also ensure the safety of all the w0men i know from the sri ram sene m0lesters? If he can, i'll honestly vote for him.
What did you achieve by getting converted. Even you guyz know that christ is just an excuse for your conver$!on. I am sure your identity in your living place remains the same as a SC/ST who are untouchables. I am acompletely against this casteism. And now across india your entire community is being looked with suspicion and low respect. Because of that even the true xistians are suffering. You not only damaged your self respect but also you are damaging the credibility of other xistians. I agree casteism is bad and so is reservation. That doesnot mean that upper caste people will convert to SC/ST. So with conver$!on what did you achieve? Instead of that why not fight against the casteism and bring back equality to all.
Re: To all converts -
by joe v on May 21, 2009 05:10 PM
I'm against forceful conversion where ever it exists. However, if someone made a choice, keep in mind that its his choice.. What you need to do is to bring a legal bill against any kind of forceful conversions.
I am so much sure that we all have to envision RURAL INDIA as a place where a farmer or poor artisan or landless labour has to be an ‘enterpreneur’ without any backing of him/her to be ‘successful’ by 32 of serving agencies and departments of the government. Even condition of ‘hope’ to such people are generally ‘destroyed’ by ‘public service delivery agencies’ created for rural India. Hope of these small entrepreneurs of their own agricultural fields or their fish ponds have been robbed by plethora of agencies, who are unfortunately fighting under the administrative demarcations under their ‘leaders’ that is MINISTERS. Far too many ministerial divisions have killed ‘rural enterprises’. There is a clear need of integration of many departments and ministries and creation of an INDEPENDENT BUDGET like RAILWAYS to all these departments and ministries. This is the time, Rahul Gandhi should don this responsibility as Deputy Prime Minister and implement the whole initiative or he should be Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
Sikhs getting slaughered in thousands = A MISTAKE. Hindous getting killed in Kashmir = Political problem. Muslims getting killed by a few hundred = Holocaust. Poor protestors getting shot in WB under Left Govt = Misunderstanding.
Banning Parzania in Gujarat = Communal. Banning Da Vinci Code and Jo Bole So Nihaal = Secular.
Kargil Attack = Government failure. Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate betrayal.
Reservations in every school and college on caste lines = Secular. Reservations in Minority institutions = Communal.
Fake encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism. Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra [Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.
Talking about Hindus and Hinduism appeasment = Communal. Talking about Muslims and Islam = Secular.
BJP freeing 3 terrorists to save 100 Indian hostages = Shameful Congress freeing 4 militants to save just a life of one daughter of I Home minister in Kashmir [Rubina Sayed] = Natural Political dilemma.
Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude. Not hanging Afzal Guru the mastermind despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.
BJP questioning Islam = Communal. Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error.

Great piece .... except that Congress suckers on this forum won't buy it. Congress has ruled the country for more than 50 years and yet, almost every problem created by them remains unresolved. Reservations, minority appeasement, how many more need to be listed here. Don't forget MMS statement that "Muslims have the first right over national resources" ... the rest are second rate citizens, in his opinion. What a party and sickening admirers!

Present democratic system permits all this. Who will bring reforms for which country is starving. Congress is to take drastic steps to curb unwanted population, bring discipline in public life, regulate quotas and reservations so as to reach to needy-presently only creamy layer is taking advantage, empower youths, etc.,etc.,

BJP is where BJP was, what is change-nothing, they were in opposition, will remain in oppostion. we are democrats. BJP is to reform herself if wants power, they cannot ignore 16 crore Muslims.

PCHJ : Does the election results in any counter what has been posted here? It actually means that the minorities are only egging the Congress to go more in the same unhealthy direction they have been travelling. Can u imagine any one PM saying that a large part of their own population is second rate citizens in their own country? How much more will you all want to suck up to Congress?
