It is Anaath...It is Ananth Kumar.Ananath Kumar was civil aviation minister in BJP govt and main central leader for BJP in Karnataka. He is handling BJP affairs for state of MP.

And if you folks did not know, Gopinath is hardly known among the mass voters. And the middle class does not waste its vote on Independents, independents have hardly made a mark in Karnataka.

just to add, no MPs have made any mark in karnataka. Only deve gowda as prime minister made a mark by making crores of rupees from 2 acres of potato field.

It is advisable taht people read the news content thoroughly, especially folks criticizing Gopinath as an forest encroacher, fron man for BJP, etc. If this was the case, responsbile citizens like Narayan Murthy and Kiran Shaw would not be supporting him.

thats not the problem here. Problem is what experiance he has in field of politics? has he done anything related to polatics before? he want to win right away and start learning process. cant people start doing some social service and than come into polatics
as such gopi is a mass type guy than the corpos. he would have less hang-ups and would be able to mingle with masses faster. he need to apply mass connection shrewedly so as to get the votes and support. also some caste based manuvering if he needs to do, he should not stay off from that as well.
Being a techie guy and well known for the people of South bangalore Gopinath will not win. He just taking this as advantage to join some party. Byre gowda will not do anything if he wins. Again he will become puppet of the so called high command of cong-r-ass. He is fit for nothing. Ananthkumar has won from the past 3 times and he has proved that he is a eligible leader of BJP. So this time also he is going to win this election.

People who vote for the likes of Ananth Kumar are also of no positive use. However, they may be very useful in a negative way - rioting, poisoning minds, dividing, putting down women, and the like.

That is stupid of you to say that. Ananth Kumar has hardly indulged in any of the activities you mention crazedcat. Even SM Krishna refused to contest against Ananth Kumar. That is the stature of ananth Kumar. He is involved in mid-day free meal programs to several schools in Bangalore. He runs a charity organization in Bangalore, which is why the voters of bangalore south always voted him for 3 terms with record margins every time.

free meal to few thousand ppl, that is his 20 years services for electing him. you call that is his big achievement. man you need to grow first. he didn't contrubute single things for bengaluru international airport though he was union civil minister.

You stupid fellow padman, It was Ananth Kumar who got the project conceived and cleared by the NDA. After the UPA came to power, they got the project delayed to please the DMK and YSR. Thanks to Yediyurappa, when he became Dy CM, he was the one who monitored the project on a weekly basis. If you don't keep tab with current happenings, you will end up being an idiot like what you are now. And BTW, if you don't know, Ananth Kumar has won again, against the kid Krishna Byre Gowda and Craptain Gopinath is not even in the picture. If you don't believe, wait for May 18. You will believe then.
I am a voter in Bangalore south and would have loved to vote for Gopinath for a change from these idiot politicians but looking at the way Gopinath is going he would fair very badly.
Politics is a different ball game, not the board room of a corporate where you will call Kiran Majumdar Shaw and Narayan Murty and make strategies for your foot soldiers to implement on the ground. He still hasnt hit the roads to meet the voters. Gopinath is acting as if he wakes one fine morning and says I will contest from B'lore south and files his nominations...... sorry sir this is not the way it works..... Ananth kumar might not have done much to speak of but atleast has done something in past and his voters know him.

Gopinath may not be knowing the areas coming under bangalore south constituency. He may go and campaign in Bangalore Rural also thinking that that it is his constituency. He he he he ;-)

He would be looking at the map of his constituency for the first time in the board room and will visit all office for campaining..... the reson of picking this place is that he knows it has maximum of educated lot who might prefer a man used to work in a corporate way..... sorry sir these people are not f00l the way you think not to understand what you are planning.
Mr.Gopinath sold his company to KF after going public and stealing public money in the bargain he duped his employees and made them job less now he wants to contect showing his great moral, dose this individul have any morals to talk abour morals, I had not voted for BJP earlier now because of this dis honest business man I shall vote for Anant Kumar.

Can you tell me what is dishonest in selling his company to KF. Also he was very reluctant to sell the company. It was Mallaya who forced him to sell because he already got support of most of the directors. Get you rfacts right. Anant Kumar is nothing but a highly corrupt politician. Have you heard about his excellect scams as tourism minister.

For every one person who has lost his job, he has also employed quite a few people. He is not running any government department which promises lifetime employment. It was private enterprise and that is how they work. I wonder why Indians feel that private companies will be like public sector. It is a flat capitalistic world. If you are good you will get another job and if you are not then you wont. Cant blame Gopinath for that.

ha ha truth I am telling the same he will do to his constunecy and country what he did to Air deccan and No body said he has opend a charity home he had every rt to sell his company but not look public after comming out with issue, see today what is the price scrips are being traded and he could do the same thing with Kashmir

After being bumped out of the airline mess he created especially towards the end b4 Air Dec merged with KF Gopinath had no future and so has taken up this. He will fall flat on his face as this is not a corporate elecetion but an election for the Lok Sabha.
