best revenue
by Ruler on Apr 09, 2009 02:23 PM  Permalink

His best was to generate profit was 'goods train'. He made fast running trains and increased charges for goods transportation, which was benefited by companies almost free of cost earlier.

Don't forget when lalu took the charge of indian railways, the financial condition as well as trains and railway stations conditions were too bad.

Good job done Lalu, whoever rules, Lalu should be Railway minister.

It was a great attempt to accomodate more people but definitely not in every compartment. It was painful to sleep on either top and middle berths on sides eventhough we paid the same amount for berth reservations.

is it a mature democracy? truelly or just beating our own drums?
by rajkumar mahajan on Apr 09, 2009 02:21 PM  Permalink

there is no major national party with clear and objective master plan agenda. all have only populist gimmics. all leaders are playing number games. voters do not know what for they are voting? those few who know, do not vote or their votes go to defeated candidates. how many of voters know about the accountibilty of mp they are voting for? how many of voters are sure about the party of mp they are electing, after elections? how many of us are sure about idological stands of parties will remain will remain unchanged after elections in hung parliament,
why we do not have right to call back a elected mp on breach of trust ground if he realigned differently than pre election?
its known fact that all mps are one united, if their individual interests are at the stake, no matter at the cost of national interest. democracy is self governance, abiding self made rules.we all need to be above the false crafts of politicians and elect the one who is for the nation, may not be of same caste, may not be my nearer, may not be catalysing any grants for me any many....
can we do this?

people ridicule Lalu because he looted Bihar for more than 10 years.

I'm myself a Bihari and know better who is a thief and who is a good leader.

All the big criminals had a direct contact with Lalu.

Lalu is fooling people like by the hype created by media about railways, lalu has done nothing to the passenger saftey, food, accomidation, security in platforms, security in trains. He has converted all the express to superfast and started looting money, he indirectly inreased the fares, he had made traveling crowded in the compartments by adding extra seats. He has not done anything created a illusion about railways.

robber Lalu used to say about bad conditions of roads in Bihar that 'poor people don't use and need road'.

Under Nitish Kumar, I've seen many parts in Bihar where there were no roads, have new and good roads built.
