Indian railways
by Jay on Apr 09, 2009 03:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian railways is a monopoly and no way it can be run at loss (unless the revenues were siphoned off). After computerization of the railways, it was unavoidable that a good part of the data had to come to books. Also since most of the listed companies who are vendors are under the scanner of investors, most of the contract details have to be brought into records. It had to happen & happened during La Loo's time.

laloo swindled bihar and made enough for 11-15 generations. laloo has not done anything special expect for boosting that he has done everything. if so why railways is continuing to take world bank, ADB loans for development. he is a hypocrite. imagine if he becomes PM, what will be the fate of the country. except biharis none else can understand what he speaks. he speaking english (like Sonia - speaking enlish in Italian style) cannot be understood except himself

Given a chance, Laloo would have done what the Rajus did with Satyam. Thank God, it needs some skills to do even a Satyam!!

Very well said, Silk. The man has completely destroyed the railway infrastructure - ask any Mumbai commuter, delays and cancellations of local trains are at a record high. The IIM people called him in to take classes for their own publicity (otherwise IIM's are named in the media only during the placement season).

These discussions aren't providing any fodder for thought! (No, it hasn't got anything to do with Laloo's fodder or something like that)

Good comment man. But how did he turn around the railways. Its seriously a big mystery. This laloo with no education qualification, he brought profit to Indian railways. I think he has goofed it up. He is such a useless fellow. He is fit for only giving birth. THats why he has 8 children. I dont what other things he was doing in home other than doing matter with Rabri???

Everything that has a beginning has an end except GOD who has neither beginning nor end and hence he re-incarnates again and again.

Lalu will see the end of his era too.

Ya man, hoping so. I seriously hope that this Laloo and his party and front lose the most in this election. But who knows what those people have in their minds. This Laloo must never be given even an opportunity to sit in any high profile chair nowonwards.

He will encourage all Biharis to leave Bihar and migrate to other states.

Then he can give the entire Bihar to his children as gift.

mr. jhanda joker,

Are you really serious? Does the joker (lalu) understand anything? It's by sheer chance that he landed people who could run a good show; and even that selection was sheer chance and it was not because of him, but in spite of him. Those who Tom-Tom this clown ought to think about the walk from Patna University-peon's official quarters to one of the richest in Bihar! Come to think of it; amassing a fortune to last generations by rearing cows! You can go tell that to the cows.
