I guess we are not too much worried what will happen to our nation because of the "Chalta hai" attitude. I guess we should have president rule for 5 years and then we should compare the outcome of both the rulling types then we can think what is right for the country. If in president rule our country perform in similar manner then their should be much worry who will be the PM
Have people witnessed the pet lines of our yuva neta Rahulji. In any state he goes 1. In Sikkim- Central funds are not reaching the people 2. In UP- Central funds are not reaching the people 3. In Karnataka- Central funds are not reaching the people 4. In Gujarat-Central funds are not reaching the people 5. In MP- Central funds are not reaching the people ..and so on every state he goes.

Rahul is really an emerging politician in India. No one can stop him. So, why this forum use abuse such a charismatic personality.
If anything is wrong in this country it is because of degeneration of Politics and for that Politicians are solely and wholly responsible to make politics a personalized fiefdom. Blaming masses for this has become a fad for the politicians which is absurd and untrue because the rot goes down from top and not bottom-up. Politicians have made the nation oriented entirely on politics to survive and going ahead which is why the progress is almost nonexistant or ridiculously slow.
Nation must progress based on arts and science and not on politics which is bad and should not happen and it is guaranteed that it will take it nowhere.

M- why blame th politicians, when we as individuals cannot rise beyond the mindsets of caste/ creed & community? Why does a party not get rejected by the electorate if their representative in parliament fails to keep his/ her promise? We kee voting for these MPs becoz either they're from "our community" or they're some high profile/ high on rhetoric individuals? [Sunil dutt (the-mp-who-has-a-record-of-least-attendance-of-3-days-in-parliament in his tenure of 5 years; who undertook a padyatra in Singapore to study how to improve civic conditions back home in India!, the guy who cudn't even manage-his-own-family-(son-a-drug-addict-TADA-detenee-a-polygamist), as an MP-he-was-shown--compering-a-programme-celebrating-dawoud's-b'day-in-dubai-a-recording-of-which-was-seen-on-a-national-news-c hannel, the MP who propogated protection to-slums-in other areas but has kept his own Pali Hill area in Suburbun Bandra a-hawker-free-zone!] was voted consequently for-a-record-5-times!!!
So guys think, all best CMs except Sheela Dixit are either BJP ruled states or their allies. Wake up India and wipe out this Italian @ss from Indian Democracy.

i dont know abot all other cm but raman singh is a dunb cm who hesitate to take any decision against the so called industrialist who doesnt follow pollution norms, theif lots & lots of excise duty. he always think of party donation from those guys, where as his victory in the assembly is concerned it was very close fight between bjp & congress in the state. remember in chattisgarh congress is been divided into jogi group, mahant group, vora group, & shukla group. so keeping all these in mind you can not term him as 2nd best cm he might be much lower in the ranking probably 15th to 20th.and its fact.

Mr Narinder Modi is a best communal leader that's why is in power nothing else. Natish kumar's performance can be seen in this election while Naveen Pat. is also loosing his ground.

This is the top 5 list. The names you have mentioned are there in top 10 list for sure.
Our politicians are araising baseless issue in the election which have not any connection to common man like Bofors, Weak PM or Kandhar etc. The Election issue should be 1. Future plan of India 2. Unemployment 3. Terrorism 4. &nb sp; Inflation 5. Global warming etc
For these issue two national parties are silent. This is the job of opposition party to raised these issue to the public. But BJP is contesting in their own home. They are busy in selecting PM in future. It seemed to be that they are not serious for this election and preparing for Next LOK Sabha Election.

Those who are casting the votes for a parliamentary candidate on the basis of caste, creed, region and language etc., are not matured enough to elect a MP. This is happening in India since 1950, we have not implemented any reform to bifurcate clearly the transfer of power from Centre to States, States to Distts and Distts. to Panchayat. Even in Parliament, majority of issues are either Govt. employees related or locals.
- High population and still growing. in 1947 our population was 33 cr, which has grown upto 115 cr. Whereas land area is constant. One child norm (as in China since 1979) with provision of first child after 25 yrs of age must b enforced all over the world.
- Consumerism. High level of consumerism combined with high population means high air & water pollution, shortage of water, petroleum products, food items and global warming. Simple living must b promoted and there should b control on wasteful use of electricity, petroleum products and water.
- Corruption. Corruption has increased tremendously. Most of the politicians ruling us and making laws r highly corrupt. They were traded like goats during trust vote. many of them change parties and alliances as fast as Shivraj Patil changes his suits. People should not elect corrupt people in elections.
- Terrorism. Religion based terrorism started in 1987 in K'shmir. There was Khalistan based terrorim for some yrs in Punjab. Now religion based terrorism has spread all over. There r even reports of meeting between Dawood & Talibanese chief in Swat to put up Talibanese candidates in Loksabha elections. We must improve our survelience and inteligence. Pro Pak people like Antule should not b part of the govt and good Muslims should b encouraged to dissociate themselves from terrorists.
All right thinking people should think further on how to remove these problems.

well said...I agree with you...If we come out with solutions to tackle these issues, we surely will be the economic super power defeating China & US...
People may say what ever they want but we all have to agree that the BJP has the most experienced leaders today. They are the only party with a clear plan ahead for the nation unlike the Congress which has been fooling us since the past 60 years
Nehru created pakistan Indira was the reason why the shoe was hurled at Chidambaram. Now sonia and sons (maybe even daughters) will sell india part by part and go round waving their hands symbolizing the "wiping" out of India
