CONGRESS: Even after more 50 years of Congress rule 70% Indian are poor and do not have social security. Biggest Defence scam - Bofors by Gandhi family. Check the food prices at present in compare to 3 years back, common man is finding problem for day to day living. Congress is not secular because of it's minor appeasement programs. Congress is soft on Terrorists, Price Rise and Corruption.
BJP: BJP ruled states are developing and well governed. Vajpayee's 6 years regime was a good government for Nation's development and checked on food price rises for all Indian citizens. BJP is not against any religion and if talks to build Ram Temple or protection of Hindus, it does not mean Communal. If Congress & SP supports Muslimpeople then they are secular. Media is biased. BJP is for all religions & castes. BJP never divide people based on caste like Congress, BSP and SP. BJP is for equal rights for everyone, no appeasement.

Section 49-O of the Constitution of INDIA .
Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling
booth,confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!
Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".
Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public.... Please spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

Both Congress and the BJP are responsible for the emerging regional politics. Mr. Shourie has put this great threat in a good way but all will say he is wrong. This is also true. India was never a united nation but ruled by local Kings and Queens. Fight for independence brought all together and this 'Ram rajya' illusion after independence has gone towards hallucination now because the national parties have miserably failed. The people BPL have gone up along with illiteracy rate. The national parties are more towards wooing the middle and upper class by reducing auto and housing loans. What about the millions of poor Indians? Aam Admi is the sufferer and those days are not far off when the 'have not's start snatching things from the 'haves' on the roads. The local parties and regional leaders play to the moods of the locals and the regional feelings which may split nation into different provinces. US with such a strong military had to hear to TEXAS State which said 'it wants to separate from USA'. The other aspect is we are sending MP's with just 20 to 30% of the popular votes when only 40 to 50% votes. So they go to parliament with a huge opposition in their own territory. So no MP in India has got the guts to walk in public without security whereas the so called dictator Field Castro could mingle with the public without security. Any public could have killed the dictator Castro but they had respect for him because he showed the world that there is a patch of land 'CUBA'.

We can go for a public interest litigation by writing to The Chief Justice of Supreme Court as to why that provision of negative voting is not allowed. For all these types of situations I am writing a book 'A disaster called India' for which the Government has already given me permission.
Mr. Arun Shourie very rigthly says that there is less of Bharat or India in this election process. what one sees is the mushrooming refional parties or tribal parties if we may say so. They only espouse the cause of local issues at the cost of the national issues.It is time we ban regional parrties and bring some legislation to ensure that disgruntled elements and criminals are not allowed from floating small parties. this is imperative as our electorate largely belong to the semi literate group which get swayed whenever a local goon or neta floats a party and espouses local burning issues. And once they get elected the issues are conveniently forgotten by the these eleted goons. If we do not have have a check on these mushrooming splinter groups in the coming years we will become a tribal nation. One wonders if we are fit for democracy.

Two three decades back national parties were dominant everywhere but the biggest problem is that the national parties hardly understands the regional issues and those regional issues are best taken care by regional parties. Remember that INDIA can progress only if our rular india starts prograss i mean to say nation development should start from in i.e from rular india and then go outwards i.e towards urban india. Today we have hundreds of Multiplexes, and what not at the same time we have villages which are still strugling for electricity. Our national parties have badly failed to reach regional peiople and therefore you see regional parties comming up.

True. In TN BJP and Cong are shrinking while smaller parties are having a say in Parli elections.
