I am very concerned that with the Congress Paty returning to the helm of Inida, all market reforms could be reversed. I live in the aunited States, but I am very proud of my Indian heritage. The reason ithat Indian ae still poor is bad, corrupt government. Indira Gandhi was the worst- suppressing free enterprise and using protecttionist practices.
Her policies reulted in Inida going bankrupt when Narasimha Rao was the Prime Minister.
Communism and socialism don't work because the leaders get rich at the expense of the citizens. A free market economy is the best, where you have three independent organiztions - the executive offce (prime ministerand cabinet) , the parliament, and the judicial system.
Whoever is chosen as the Prime Minister, Sonia Gandhi will rule in the background, wher her son Rahul is just a front.
Doesn't really make any difference - Sonia or Singh, she will rule in any case. To see congress with over 200 seats only goes to prove that my fold back home refuse learn. As for the secular part, all parties are as secular or non secular as the BJP, infact they may be exloiting people more.
It is a fact that the wife of Lord Rama was a daughter of Raja Janak from Nepal, though a forner but was married to the Rama and the districts of North Bihar upto Hazipur (Vaishali) were gifted by Raja janak to the Rama and all the Indians especially Hindus are worshiping Sita.
Madam sonia is also in the same boat. If she can not not be worshiped as Sita but can definitely be a Prime Minister of India being wife of Late Sh. Rajiv Gandhi.
Yes it good to ahve PM like ManMohan sing for INDIA for next tenure. Since he has done lot of reforms in mid 90's and now we are now enjoying the fruits of it.
The NDA also joined to retain those reforms becasue they are really worth to keep.
