Virat-True successor of Dada
by Guru RamRahimDsuza on Mar 08, 2017 05:20 PM

Virat reminds me of Dada. Always gets under opposition’s skin and take the bull by the horns. We were fed up watching the lame captaincy of someone who even after 8-0 loss was trying to give excuses and never tried to give the fight back to the opposition. Still his followers like Shilpa/Sunil worship him. Shame on those F00ls

Still need fine tuning
by ANIL SINGH on Mar 08, 2017 01:31 AM

Consistent failure of last 5 wicket. Each of the four innins thay have made less than 50 runs. We have Ashwin, Saha, Jadeja. Should expect atleasy 75 to 100 runs from last five wickects. This match even K Nair was at seven still lastfive added just 40 runs- thanks to last wicket getting 16 of those.

Secondly why we don't put first slip. Should have two slip and gully for them. The second slip and floating slip is rediculous. 4 catches have going begging thru first slip what Ihave seen, not sure if other might have gone. The best catching position for quicks id caugh behind and first two slip and gully for awkward bounce or cut in air. We need to trust our bowlers. With Kapil Dev I have seen India putting 3 or 4 slips with gully. We have to give bowlers that field consistently.

Back to winning ways..

Australia dominated for 3 days almost.. The Pujara-Rahane partnership turned it around. Good to see India winning again.. but....

The pune defeat hurt a lot. NOT that India should win every match they play, but the batting collapse twice in a row hurt the average fan. Great opposition there, but batting collapses and Ashwin's failure surprised..

Understand the game and read closely. The turnaround happened on second day itself with some classic bowling from Indian bowlers.
