If Ravi Shastri was the candidate the team wanted why call others for interview and wasting their time.When Ravi shastri went to Sachin and got his approval it was decided then itself that he would be the coach. If Kohli is such a great Captain why he could not win even one IPL finals. Coaches mould the players and take them forward not captain as you can see JOhn Wright took India to finals and Gary kirsten made us win Finals that is how coach is important. You dont listen to the whims and fancies of Kohli and select a coach of his choice then why call others for interviews. Indian team will fall under these two guys. And shame on Sachin for doing backdoor recommendation for Ravi Shastri.

Now the tamasha is over. It was certain from the beginning that by hook or crook, the board wanted to please their biggest chamchagiri and a undeserving candidate to appoint him as a coach and reward whim with non stop power, position and perks he is enjoying for years. Only time will tell whether his selection will benefit the Indian team or not.

Such a shame Indian cricket team has gone down into the dumps now with these kind of people leading the team and such a waste coach.
