What a win. It was Warners calm and composed brilliance along with his super batting enabled SRH to win the IPL in grand scale. Once again proved bowlers win matches with Cuttings all round performance.Unfortunate RCB again slipped the victory inspite of a great comeback.
I feel Binny is a misfit in the slog overs and how he is selected in the playing eleven is a surprise. He is even selected for India when it may be difficult to fix hin even in his State team.
Shane Watson was off color and contributed runs to the opponents lavishly.ABD diddnot click as expected. Gayle and Kohli were going strong and their dismissal satrted the collapse.

RCB LOSS FOR SILLY REASONS
by santosh kapoor on May 30, 2016 05:09 PM

01.Binnys Selection apart from his poor batting and bowling.
02.Watson selection apart from his poor run.
03.Why Sarfraz was seating on bench though his strike rate was high.
04.Death over given to Watson

Over Confidence & Some Bad decision by Captain Kohli. Mr. Kohli always claimed for learning Coolness from MS Dhoni but Actually not seen on field.

Captaincy costs RCB

No sensible caption would have given the ball to Watson to bown that last over, especially when he was hammered around by SRH batmen in the three previous overs. Even a notice would have noticed that from the 1st ball watson bowled, he was confused man, spraying the ball here and there conceding wides. All those yorkers he tried did not pitch up and turning them into half volleys the SRH batsmen dispatched those ball to the boundary. Anyone with an iota of cricketing brain would have done what Virat did. He is one of the best batsman in the world today, not doubt about it, but on captaincy, he needs to learn a lot. He virtually handed over the trophy to SRH by his foolish decision.

abs right..your observation is brilliant. shane Watson is certainly not the bowler to whom the death overs can be given. there were many other good spin/ pace bowlers who can bowl reasonably well. this move of Kohli giving the final over shane Watson can be labeled the Himalayan blunder..

When we are discussing the current scene what is the sense in bringing in Wasim Akram, Shane Warne etc.

Yeah. He did have completely off day yesterday. So many full tosses and that too in the final overs. Finally the 24 runs he gave away in the last over mattered with SRH winning by just 8 runs. In T20 there is never a relaxing moment. Watson and RCB learnt it in a very wrong way
