Selection comitee most illogical. World cups are not won by rookies like rohit rayddus Kuldeep and mohit. But by yuvraj raina kohli and gambhir. ...Stil nothing is lost wake by sandy and Co. .before its too late
Easily the Sandip Patil led selection committee has given not just maximum surprises ever but also holds record for being whimsical in including names arbitrarily. Resting Ashwin to try a young face is understandable but discarding Karan Sharma or Akshar Patel who played in B’desh series and both of whom seem to have good potential w/o even giving them adequate chance looks very arbitrary. This Kuldeep Yadav has not even played Ranji and not included in the KKR side in IPL now suddenly drops from heaven after playing in just CLand junior WC where the team fared badly. Question is will he get to play at all in playing XI with two more seniors in the side or is just included to get in the national side due to some political connection ? In an interview Kuldip himself says that he was not aware but his dad was aware of his selection ! Earlier it was an aging Pankaj Singh, an oldish bits n pieces player ,Stuart Binny the son of a selector who was but a virtual tourist in NZ and England, a very young Sanju Samson yet to mature and so on ! While Kuldip Yadav is indeed young and we wish him all the best but such repeated arbitrary selection raises doubts if the selectors are giving in to pressure from people with right ‘connection’.
Before the WC I think its a bad selection, for dropping a catch if you drop a player then I guess you need to drop the whole team.I think the selectors need to show faith in Jadeja and ashwin, else they should be released to play for other country.I think performance in last series does not matter, only influence matters... WC Chances for India looks thin now.
Wonder what Vijay and rayddus are doing. When we Stil have class players like yuvraj Robin and manoj tiwari sitting out. This is a poor team bhajji could have been included to have some experience. ..We will realise only in Australia in the new year. Hope selectors wake up then. Else too late.

Fully agree. Why the hell is Vijay selected for a limited overs game? Is he related to Srinivasan? Uthappa is a much better player but has no God father in the BCCI.
The young chinaman should consider himslef lucky to get selected in the national squad with playing almost nil Ranji games. Almost a certain to be in the 11 in the absence of Ashwin. Samsons omission was a surprise.
