Sachin could be the best player but he lacks abilities to lead. He was a total 'flop' skipper and he himself have realized that. Why are we talking so much about him? Are'nt Sunil Gavaskar and Ganguly Very good players? Why someone wants to make him a minister, bestow him with the "Bharat Ratn'' and so on? Tomorrow someone might say that he should be made PM! This has to be put to an end!!
Sachin is a gentleman and no doubt if given free hand he will be a boon for Indian sports. But big question is, will he get a free hand to make sports better and pro-sportsperson in India?
Sachin will be the best if he is a minister for cricket. For Sports? Sports is much more than cricket which India dont know! Sports is limited to some states in India.
Indian politics is heavily loaded towards criminality, corruption and immorality. Gentleman like Tendulkar has no place in it. Let him live and die as legend.
Sachin tendulkar is born Little Master but One should remember that he could not be a good Captain. Slowly Learning things and joining politics can do things. But again politics his follower could write NAMES.
Paid_media is keeping extra sensitive Indians on another silly_topic diverting their minds from the Ku_karams of congress.
At the same time,it is still continuing to promote Sachin even after he retired because corporates still have to recover the 100 crores it invested on him as brand ambassador.
No benefit for sachin for being on one side of political party. He will loose his fan following . On the other hand only political party will benefit from his charisma with few lack votes in one place. But he will loose millions of fans all over india. This will be biggest mistake if he comes for political meetings.
In one word, it will be a "DISASTER" if he is made a minister. He is almost the age of Rahul Gandhi :). He should be given a job of some administrator (if he agrees for a post-retirement alliance with cricket). If he performs well, he can be made a minister depending on the govt in the centre..
Being a "nice human" is different than being a person "in charge" of something.
