(contd.).Now coming to India, how did Dhoni & co. turn around things ? Of course the starting point had to be Dhoni himself after that famous Jimmy Amarnath bashing—“… Dhoni did not find a place in Test playing XI!...”. It was the Dhoni’s brilliant 99 against England at Nagpur that started the resurgence! Rest, as they say is history! Yes, after the Nagpur Test, next Dhoni came up with that Rajnikant like ‘reel’ innings of double century which marked virtually a vertical take -off for the Indian side thereafter even while the Aussies going down like the occasional ISRO rocket falling into the sea after 1st stage failure !The next big X-factor was the consistent opening stands after exit of both Sehwag-Gambhir pair which had been letting down team India the last three series. In Shikhar Dhawan and M/Vijay a major ‘opening batting ’ worry seems to be getting sorted out with even Gambhir remaining as the 3rd option. Further to a good opening stand, the middle order became more stable although the batting as a whole is still in rebuilding stage with likes of Pujara, Kohli ,Dhoni , jadeja etc. needing more exposures in alien conditions. At least for now at home conditions Pujara has been exceptional with Kohli and Dhoni chipping in with useful knocks whenever the team needed them.
It is 4-0 and nothing less ! Revenge is complete ? Some say it is the weakest Aus side ever ? For instance as far as Dada is concerened he prefers to wait until the Indian tour of SA. So we patiently wait for Dada’s comments till Oct.! Coming to report card, what about report card of Srinivasan and Sandip Patil & co ? And Mohinder Amarnath's ? If MA is a 'marad' he should come out of hiding to face the media because virtually he was on all print media and TV channels 24x7 giving his sound bites when the team was not doing well ! BCCI and the selectors acted after all after that two series debacle thanks to media criticism ! We must give credit where it is due for the turn around! Only thing is it is not Dhoni but Sehwag and Gambhir who are out in the cold ! So it is Dhoni who seems to have the last laugh ! On a macro level the main reasons for such a big turn- around can be attributed to both internal and external factors. External , the Aus team was inexperienced ever if not the weakest ever. Except M/Clarke no one else had the TEST calibre. Add to that the Head Master coach M/Arhtur who only further compounded the problems of the inexperienced side. If Aus has to regain the no 1 position, then first, M/Arthur has to go.Next get some good Test batsman besides M/Clarke, M/Wade etc.Likes of Shane Watson are highly overrated players and are fit only for shorter versions of the game.
Tendulakr dose not deserve a 4 but -4. the most experienced batsman in the world after playing 190 tests could not handle club class bowlers on home grounds. pujara , murali , dhawan by scoring huge tons proved the quality of bowling oz had. After 24 years , the so called greatest was an abject failure. scored a scratchy 81 on flat surface, the moment it started turning could not put bat to ball. out of the 81 that he scored , last 4 came in 60 balls. shame on such greatness. he almost ensured that India do not win until dhoni blasted oz out of the match.
jadeja & ashwin both deserve 10/10 as they are relatively new comers but they bowled as if they are seasoned spinners.
bhajji is another one past his expiry date. good that he did not play the two tests. high time he was retired by board along with master plaster.

this is the condition of legends in cricket, cricket is nothing but money making machine. If a soldier/Policeman died in action govt. gives him 5-6 lakhs compensation, out on 1 run in both innings, tendulkar will easily earn > 10,00,000. see the life of a soldier is cheaper then 2 runs in india. what a shameful situation.

Mr. singh correctly said.what to do selectors and player sachin are from Mumbai. no one can say anything when they are like hand to gloves
the way he played he should get 0 instead of 4. again there is a clear partial marking between north and south. Ashwin was so good getting 10/10 is also less compare to pujara or jadeja. Right time sachin who is and will be a big burden to Indian cricket team if he doesn't retire. Selectors have to talk to him and put his cricket career in test an end.

You gave 10/10 to Ravindra Jadeja. Why? He deserves 7 b'cos he was taken as an all rounder & has failed with the bat in the first 3 tests, which you failed to notice.
You gave 9/10 to Ashwin, who was below par in the 3rd test, so going by the average he should get 7 or max 8 if only bowling is concerned but since he is also a specialised batsman & has failed in all the innings with the bat, he deserves just 6 points.
You gave 4/10 to Sachin - on what grounds? He should get 2 because of his status in the team & the horrible performance in the six innings out of 7 that he batted. Absolutely disappointing performance from him.

Bhaji can only take wickets of tailenders if at that....Jadeja as all rounder is better in bowling than Bhajji who is a bowler..... Bhajji, Sehwag and other non performers are history.But they will still make millions in IPL. So you should worry about yourself more than bhajji unless it is bhajji writing in a pseudonymn. If he is a man try to bowl well , get wickets and get back in the team...Not on basis of quota.

Harbhajan is not a team player. He lost is mojo of dominating in bowling. He has not even shown any results in domestic matches but still got a chance and he screwed himself well the opportunity

Will these players play with the same maturity when they would play in the away series?The new pair of the opening batsmen is a boon on Indian pitches.They are to be tested in SA next on their pitches.The principle behind is to prepare your self for the pitches you expect to encounter.The mental toughness and adaptabilty.A tough job but not difficult if you want to be number one once again
