Where is Irfan Pathan?
by seejo paul on Mar 07, 2013 01:45 PM  | Hide replies

Where are Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aron & Shammi Ahmed? One of them shud replace Ishant Sharma. He shud go back to domestic cricket & learn to bowl full length bowls & comeback. With his inability to bowl full length deliveries he can't swing the bowl which is inevitable atleast in Indian conditions.

Does it make any sense?
by DHARMENDRA GANATRA on Mar 07, 2013 01:41 PM  | Hide replies

Does it make any sense to drop Sehwag but not to pick up replacement and no other change. It selectors do not want to replace Sehwag then he should have been continued in the team so that team management including MSD and Coach could have taken decision to include or not to include him in final elevan.

You have hit the nail on its head. But, this seems to be a diplomatic decision to save Dhoni from taking this hard decision.

I guess this was done wit MSD's consent and both of them are sure Sehwag will make a come back and they did not want any sour relationships.

Sehwag has been a massive contributor to Indian cricket team but he has underperformed in recent past so he needs to sit back and work on his game thats it ....

NOBODY HAS THE GUTS TO TALK ABOUT SACHIN. HE WILL PLAY AS LONG HE WISHES. NOONE IS ELIGIBLE TO TALK ABOUT HIS GAME AND DEDICATION.
