Really cant digest the concept of Sehwag scoring one century and then 20 other low scores. he shld play more domestic matches to regain his confidence.

every non performer should be replaced
by DD PP on Mar 07, 2013 01:21 PM

why are we aligned with some players. they might have done good sometime back. but going by past glories these players should not take places for granted. Infact selectors should be uniform in their approach of sacking non performers. be it sachin or sehwag or dhoni. country comes first then all these supposedly great names. they make 200 crores for just being there on the team india.

unreasonable to blame dhoni
by Pratham on Mar 07, 2013 01:20 PM

Dont blame Dhoni, Sehwag and Gambhir themselves are to be blamed for their ouster.

these guys got more than enough chances - just check record - 1 century to their credit in last three years !! How much more pathetic can one get on performance score ? remember they played each and every test so they had ample chnaces to prove their calibre - after all shikhar dhawan, rahane, manoj tiwari also need a break. they are talented, young and need to be tested so that they can fill the gap.

it will be stu p!d to blame dhoni while ignoring the performance.

well i am not an avid fan of dhoni, but give him credit where he deserves - and criticize where he needs to be. like his policy of giving murali vijay and jadeja more than enough and out of turn chances !! but similarly, one has to get rid of non performers like sehwag and gambhir...

No meaning in keeping ill performing players. Has to give chances to new players who has steady talent.

Sehwag should not have been dropped. He should have been allowed to play the entire series.

Not a right decision.

Very Sad Decision
by sridhar chary on Mar 07, 2013 01:16 PM

Sehwag is the only player to score a hundred against England( better team than Australia). Where were Dhoni and Co not even saving any test match. I think Sachin will be the next and So Zaheer and Harbhajan.

Harbhajan

On what basis Harbhajan was retained in the team while his performance with ball was no better than Sehwag with bat. It is ridiculous selection. Non performers should not be in players list of 15 also. Piyush Chawla is a wicket taking bowler and should have replaced Bhajji for variation.

none of the players are selected or played on their merits or skills it is only how good are your relations with all the people who decide the future of our cricket God Bless All

Wake up, he was under utilised by Dhoni in first match and he still took 3 wickets. When he returned to bowl his second spell in second test match first innings his figures were 4-2-9-2 and he was removed immediately to give chance to Jadeja to take another wicket. Second innings he bowled 10 overs in 2 spells with final figures 10-7-10-0.

I hope these figures will give you a JOLT becvause you seem to hate Bhajji.
