Actually Pujara and Mohit Sharma have made it. But why rest Shikhar Dhawan ? Getting his 2nd break in international cricket against Aus he started with a bang with his century TEST debut and is still in the process of establishing himself . Hence it is only proper that he gets as many chance as possible and giving him a break at this early stage of his 2nd coming is totally illogical and reeks of arbitrariness. On the other hand Rohit Sharma not being able to be consistent even after playing over hundred one dayers getting his nth chance equally looks beyond comprehension. Main problem with RS appears to be he is satisfied playing T-20 version and is just not interested in playing longer version of the game because given his talent it becomes difficult to reconcile with his On-Off form. Young Parvez Rassol eagerly awaiting his debut not getting his chance even after 3 games must be disappointed too. Both the arbitrary decisions about Dhawan and Parvez Rassol are totally unacceptable. A good captain is known not just for winning but also for logical good decision making.Meanwhile congrats to Mohit Sharma for a decent One day debut having picked two international wickets at a good strike rate and a good economy rate. In fact he was the best pacer of the lot.
