Problem with Aswin is that when he is bowling well, he doesnt' bat well and when he is batting well, he doesn't bowl well. And his fielding is not something to write home about. He should be primarily a spinner who can chip in with the bat.
It was time in 80s each team had a genuine alrounder like above..who make the lot of difference..They make a 11 memebre team look like a 12 member team with their skills.
20 Years gone .. We do not have another Kapil Dev.
its big time to show some creativity and courage.. 1. rahane 2. raydu 3. kohli 4. yuvi 5. tiwary 6. unmukt chand 7. msd 8. ashwin 9. bhuvneshwar kumar 10. dinda / p kumar 11. ishant / varun aaron

cos dhoni doesn't want him to grow....only raina ashwin yuvi jadeja should be given chances....
We had some genuine all rounders in 1980s & really we do not have one right now.. These days most Indian youngsters are very much inspired by either bowler or batsmen, but no all-rounder.. Also young talents are not groomed to develop their skills in foreign countries, probably they didn't get a chance to do that!?
dhoni expects the allrounder to complete his quota of 10 overs, but what abt the 4 other bowlers who fail to do so. India need good bowlers more than an allrounder.
Ravindra Jadeja is over hyped player, Use less. Even Raina upto some extent. Please India give chance to Umkut Chand. He will be ready and groomed till 2015 world cup. Take some players from u-19 and also Rahane and Tiwary or i think they will be just waste. Even Abhishek Nayar is consistent in performance.
